NIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

generally from 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements depending on their cgpa. the main companies who visited our companies included texas instruments , Nvidia , microsoft, amazon, phone pe , oyo , oracle , L&T etc. Last year from my branch almost every student were having 2 placement offer in hand. till the date from my college the highest placement achieved is 1.6 cr by a girl from my branch and the average package is 9 lakh. last year 87 percent students were placed and some has decided to go for higher studies. after getting the degree i want to get placed in a multi national company or faang.

? actually since my childhood it was my dream branch to study in because it provides lot of information in depth and the curriculam is like that it covers all the modern topics . ? as i mentioned it covers all the modern topics from real world almost which society demands. ? In my opinion they should focus on more practical things rather than focusing on theoretical topics that will help in sharpening the mind of young generation. ? Basically in my branch syllabus is typically tough comapare to other branches and the frequency is that they used to conduct one mid semester exam and one end semester exam per semester rather than these exams there will be some class tests also , difficulty level is not too much high professors will ask question from syllabus whatever they have taught you in the class.

after 6th semester students are eligible to campus placements. the main companies visit to our college including (microsoft , google, amazon, tesla ,lnt , reliance , adani,vale etc) , last year in my branch almost ever student were have two offers in hand. highest package was 1.6 cr acquired by a girl from ECE branch and average package is around 8-9 lakh. last year 63 percent students were placed. my plans after getting the degree is to get a good job with a decent salary.

Highest and Average Packages: Highest Package: The highest package offered during placements at NIT Patna was INR 52 LPA. Average Package: On average, students secure packages around INR 14 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Meta, and Google have been active recruiters .

Placements are decent here. You have to be patient and work accordingly.From seven semester you are eligible for placement.Around 50+ companies visited and they offer average of 6 lac ctc.Around 50% students get placed in 2020 during recession period.

from 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. the core companies like Lnt ,Ashok Leyland,Afcons,Aditya Birla etc. visited.the averae package was 7 lpa. the highest package was for cse approx 50 lpa. my plan is to get placed in good company and get myself prepared for job.

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. But if u want placement u have to start preparation for aptitude from beginning. For civil branch ,core companies like L&T,KEC,Aditya Birla Group,MKC visited and other companies unacademy, Deloitte,Pwc also visited.

The placement for 2020-24 batch was not too nice like previous year . CSE department faced the crisis . Till date CIVIL also has 50% placement in which the major recruiter was L&t offering 6-6.5 lpa. The highest package was offered by nation with namo i.e.19lpa which took only one student.

The course curriculum is quite good. and it is match with many compatative exams like ese and gate, so, if one should want to prepare for that then according to me they won't face any problem while studing their academic syllabus.
