Students have 2 opportunities at placements. In 5th semester students are allowed to sit for placements for an internship which is for 6 months and is the 6th semester of college. In the 7th and 8th semester, students are allowed to sit for their final placements.

From 6 sem students are avalanches for college placement. Punjab Engineering College is good in the amount of college placement provided. Many big companies like google amazon also visit Punjab engineering college.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

In the last year of college, every student is eligible for the placements except those students which are somehow failing in their respective subjects. The companies which visited the campus are JP Morgan, Mckinsey, Microsoft, GS, Airbus, Honda, Maruti, ZS, etc, and more than 50% of the students are placed. Microsoft gave the highest package as per my knowledge but don't remember the exact amount

Placements are good. Top companies including FANG and Microsoft visit campus for placements. Before placement every student have to complete 6 months of internship in their 6th sem. highest package hits 45 lacs last year. In CS branch placement rate is 100%.

The placement is the best thing about my college. The official stats are almost 87 %. The average package is around 7-8 lakhs. Placement in non-core companies goes up to 50 Lakh. Almost all the reputed companies hire people from here so from a placement point of view the college is very good. Also, there are many people who pursue higher studies abroad and our college has contacts with UCLA. Microsoft, Amazon, L&T, Daltron, Adobe, American Express, JP Morgan are some of the top recruiters. There is a compulsory internship dedicated semester and most of the students get their PPOs there only. ALMOST 600 offers are made yearly and the students seeking job get placed easily.

My College is located in a very pretty location also it is near to my college. It is known as a brand and placements are pretty good. My teachers recommended me and also I searched online about it. Moreover it is a government college and all scholarship related schemes are easily available.

Reputed college with good placements opportunities and near from home. It is one of the top ranked University in the state and is definitely best one from where to pursue engineering. Admission process is completely online with only one exception of document verification which has to be done in person in one of the allotted universities of th city( ideally punjab University).

Because this was top university for btech in Chandigarh and also there is very good placement as I seen in there college sites and from other review sites. I have also met some seniors which told me that there was good faculty there and one of the major factor that was it was the best college which was near my house.

I chose this college because my one of uncle suggested me to get int9 this college. He is too the professor in chemical department. He told me all the props and cons. So i landed here. Besides, campus of this college is too good and vast and lot of opportunities are there to explore ourselves.
