PEC Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Campus placments and internships are great with an average package of over 6,00,000 and average per month stipend around 25k. A number of technical (Trident, Hero, Maruti etc ) visited the campus and Non tech (JP Morgaon, Amazon, ZS etc ) along with a large pool of startups visited. For mechanical, more than 50% of the batch got placed but was higher was Circuital branches.

We become eligible for placement during our final years. But we can also get a placement offer from Internships which we mandatorily undertake during the 7th semester. Various companies including Amazon, Exxon Mobile, ITC, Trident, Oyo, Microsoft, Sandisk, Texas instruments, etc. visited our campus. During the covid, the number of offers made was less, but I suppose almost 60-70% of the students had at least one offer on hand. The average package offered was around 5-6 LPA. I want to do a job after my degree.

Placements are good and almost all of the students get placed from circuital branches. Big tech companies visit the campus and offer high-paying jobs. The highest package offered was 42 lac per annum and the average for college falls around 6-7 lac.

I had an inherent inclination towards Mechanical Engineering as my choice of Feild of Interest. The Faculty-student ratio was optimally sufficient though some academic improvements regarding the Course Curriculum were expected Each faculty member had pursued Ph.Ds from prestigious institutions all over the country Exams happened on Schedule and given the fact that the education is fairly technical means that to score well one has to study regularly

Students with no backlogs are eligible by the college to sit for the placements and internships. A lot of companies visit these drives, and it's easier for a 6.5+ CGPA student to easily get placed considering you've done something in college. CSE/ECE Branch gets the highest packages and the average is ~8.5 for these branches.

From 7th sem students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like TCS, MICROSOFT, NESTLE, SONY, HAWKINS., BHEL are visited and about 7 to 8 lakh packages are giving. About 90 % of students are placed and all are in good companies with higher packages. I want to do a job in google.

Big companies like Microsoft, Goldmann Sachs, Amazon, JP Morgan, American Express, Mastercard, Arcesium, Mckinsey, Bain and Company, PhonePe, Maruti Suzuki, Hero, Exxonmobil, etc. visit campus for placements and internships.
