PEC Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In your 7th semester, you become eligible for campus placements. Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Amazon, Airbus, McKinsey are some high-profile companies that hire students from PEC. Branches like CSE and ECE get the Highest CTC of around 42-45lacs and the average goes to 10lacs. I'm planning to do a job for few years then go for higher studies in the field I'll feel is beneficial for my career at that time.

From 3rd year, the companies start recruiting for internships for different profiles. And, for the 4th year, the companies start recruiting for placements. The name of the companies are Microsoft, Maruti, Goldman Sach, etc. The highest package offered is 42 lakhs by Microsoft and the average package is around 7 lakh. Almost every student gets placed in companies.

Campus placements are quite good and students become eligible from the 7th sem for placements. And students become eligible for internships from the 5th sem. The highest package is provided by arcesium and Microsoft. 70 to 80 percent of placements.

It is mandatory to get an internship in the sixth semester and there are plenty of opportunities especially for the circuital departments, not so much for the non-circuital but students can appear in the interviews from any branch in most cases. The average package for mechanical students is around 7 LPA but that's cause most of them get jobs in the IT, consulting, or finance sector. Although I won't say it is the fault of the university, there were a lot more companies in the previous years when the manufacturing sector was flourishing.

From 6th sem students are eligible for campus placement. A lot of companies like American Express, Microsoft, amazon, IBM, Mastercard visit the campus. The highest average salary is around 40 lac. More than 80 percent of students getting placements.

Placement in this college is amazing. Almost more than 85% of students are placed. All the BIg companies visit here be it be Microsoft, Amazon, AMEX, Goldman Sachs, and many more. The highest package here was more than 35 lakhs and the average package is 9 lakh.

Companies come in 6th sem for internship opportunities and after reviewing them they give preplacement offer ,students ggets assured job before 4th year only. Then after in 4th year companies start coming for placement offers .companies like microsoft ,collegedunia ,sew,fieldassist .amex jp mirgan,gold schazman and many other good companies come across cycle.I got job itself in collegedunia

The placements are good. And a lot of profiles are available for students to apply. Most of the students end up getting placed in good companies and good salary packages. The highest salary package is around 40lakhs offered by Microsoft.

the reason why we took this course as before is due to the fact that it was a circuital one so the number of companies that we get is very good in number part from this i had a word with a senior of the college regarding the same and coming back to faculty it was pretty good cause we were being taught in an amazing way and were being told about the structure of the course in an amazing way and they were quite diligent with their classes and apart from them that we had to do certain stuff on regular baiss so that we get good at what we study and the teaching methods were good as certain pracitality approach was also amazing. i really liked the structure of the program and talking about qualifications is you had to make sure it was from well known IIT and then it had many other other reputed. and then talking about exxams they were quite up to the mark and then we had our performances being marke and then it had our grades diaplyed whci was pretty amaing as well apart from this we had good

5th semester for Internships and 7th semester for placements. Many companies visited. average package was 6 LPA. almost 70% are placed along with 10% going for government jobs and 10% opting for higher studies.
