PEC Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I got selected to this college by giving the entrance exam JEE Mains. The regulating body is now JoSAA through which you get into IIT's, NIT's, IIIT's. I preferred reputed college over any specific branch as I was not inclined to ny specific subject till then. Although PEC CSE is preferred more but the course I am into is also quite knowledgeable and interesting as per engineering and research backgrounds are considered.

The college imparts good technical education along with overall development of a student and Awards good work experience to students it has various clubs, technical societies helping students to be a good person.

Our college is very supportive as the faculty here are very supportive as they want us to gain knowledge and stay positive but the cons of our college are slow working nature due to government sector and less development in the past years.

It is Tier 1 College in India. Established in 1918, Shifted from Lahore and now in Chandigarh. Sports facilities and grounds. Ample space for different events such as PECFEST

You can have a lot of fun in this college but be wise with the choices you make to give time to studies or extra-curricular, also choose your friend circle wisely. Totally depends on your individual choices how you want to shape your life. you will find a lot of personalities here. just be yourself and you'll be fine.

Overall the student culture in this college is the basic foundation over which this college is going firmly . All the cultural activities and the preparation that goes into them outshines all academics of college by a large gap .

College have very good and positive environment for studies which is good sign for growth of students. Also college is not at all involved in politics which i think good sign for focused learning. There are no such protest held in college which means everyone is happy.

Positive remark about the college is the base and alumni excellence graph. The faculty and supporting members are good.placement record of this college is awesome.but negative thing is that the infrastructure and hostel facility provided.

College is good if you are in cse otherwise you have to look for higher studies placements are good for cse only not for other branches. It is more of a cultural college so on the technical parts you have to look for yourself.

The only negative thing that stops this college from advancing is the rude and egoistic faculty that doesnt even care to listen to students. If this gets fixed, all the other problems will vanish. On positive side, facilities and opportunities provided by college are endless and students can explore these for the physical and mental growth.
