I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

The infra-structure is excellent. Here is two buildings are available separately. One is for Bachelor of technology and anothere one is Bachelor of architecture
Availability of the cources , which are computer science engineeeing, electricals, chemicals and information technology along with the subjects as mathematics, chemistry
Placement and faculty;averagely all the students get placed in placement they got good package also. The placement are main reason of Facultys only

Dislikes

They are not providing hostel to everyone. It is very difficult to getting rent rooms in the out side of the college hostel. It is happens to girls also.
Playing grou d is too small. There is not availability of the games court . Nobody is playing games normally likely as the daily fitness purpose also.
In library, there is lack of place for sitting students for books studing purpose. It is mandatory for every institute.

Placement Experience:

Precampus placement is available in fifth semester but who are more knowledgeable and also companies should be taken according to their skills. Normally from seventh semester is eligibility if the campus placement. The company's are coromandal international Ltd, tata chemicals, pidilite company, Hindustan organic company Ltd, Indian drugs and pharmaceuticals Ltd, ONGC it is one of the most important competition in chemical company's and many other company are existable in the chemical purpose. The highest package is 70 lakhs per annume and average package is to be ten lakhs per annume. The percentage of placement of the students is to be yearly changed by last two years are fully getting placement. But earlier it is 99 percent and 98 percentage. I am interested to higher education of heat transfer subject

infrastructure is good and it is located main city of raipur
Inter Nit sports fest is very good for me because i had participated in every year.
friends and faculty are helping nature. they are always ready for help

Dislikes

hostel availability is very less, by this reason many students struggle for room.
library is too small and also not open in night
restriction for in time for hostel and college campus.

Placement Experience:

every students want to take placement in our college so they are always focused with aim oriented. in my campus placement is good, exactly it is not accurate but 75% students placed every year. those who have not get placecd then they go for higher study like Mtech., Phd. or civil cervices

Placements oppurtunities,student cocurricular activities
chilling and hangout places in our collge provide nice experience to us
Fests and sports related facilities like ground,gym

Dislikes

campus is too short when compared to other nits
common ground for all sports which creates problem when multiple sports are playing
hostel facility is not provided to all students

The placements of our college is good as college placements include and core and non core profiles companies like ultratech reliance industries visit to our college.The average package of our college is in our course is 70 percentage

Fests and Events which happen once a year but fill lot of memories
To be part of coding clubs and click club and various committees like sanskriti, a cultural committee.
we have central garden which is very beautiful and i spent lot of time in CG.

Dislikes

Poor Hostel accommodation facilities are provided.
poor lab and classroom facilities. Don't have basic lab equipment.
Sports and Gym facilities are very low. Limited for some students only.

Placement Experience:

Placements are in poor condition .Every year companies visiting are decreasing .We will be eligible for interns in 5th semester and placements in 7th semester starting.companies visited are Deboy, DEshaw, Texas, Amazon, Deloitte,Wipro. 60% students are placed every year.This year placements condition is very bad due to recession.Highest package offered is 50 lac per annum. Average package is 1500000 per annum.

My overall experience a NITRR is good. I like the campus life .
The faculty in our college is excellent. Placements in this college are good .
The main thing I like about this college is , it has a good infrastructure

Dislikes

The things I don't like about this College is, this college don't provide hostels for all the students.
This college don't have good equipments for sports
The auditoriums in this college has only capacity of 200 members.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are good ,above 80% students will get placement. The average package offered during placements in 2022 is ?10LPA .The highest package offered during placements stood at ?62LPA . A total of 693 offers were received during placements in year 2022.

Mega Events like Eclectika and sports fest Samar is held every year
Best clubs and committes are present.we can be part of it.
College location is at middle of raipur city .so all things are available within 2 km range

Dislikes

No proper Hostel Accommodation provided.others need to stay out of campus.
Companies visited this year are less compared to last year. low placement percentage.
College doesn't take care of student studies .It is upto student whether he reads or not.

Placement Experience:

In 5th semester Internship opportunities are provided and placements at start of 4th year or 7th sem.Companies visited are Deboy, Visa, Deloitte, Texas ,Wipro ,Adobe ,Infosys ,Amazon .Highest package offered is 58 lac per annum and average packages are 17 lac per annum.Nearly 80% students are placed from all branches.Some less internship opportunities are provided compared to other colleges or institute.

Enjoy NIT Raipur

Likes

I liked the competition in NIT Raipur, the competition is real hard to overcome
The clubs and committees were dam good , we have clubs related to ever category
Teacher were so qualified, and friendly .

Dislikes

There are less hostel accommodation for second year
Even hostels seat have reservations, then how can genere category students survive
The atmosphere in Raipur too hot in summer and too cold in winter like 14 degrees

Placement Experience:

The placement in final year were good , but coming to internship, there little up in some year and down in some year. After corona the placement were reduced. The average package for CSE students is nearly 15 LPA and other branch placements were also decent.

The area out of the campus is not not much good
Will be a bit difficult to go in case if there is an emergency

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum here is well and thought by well dignified and well experienced professors and takes care of each and every student in every aspect of their career like getting placement and scoring good marks in their semesters Here the management follows the credit based system in their examinations and conducts one mid semester examination and end semester examination with respective of their labs too

Jut NIT Raipur things

I like the placement of NIT Raipur as it offers a decent package after completion of the course.
I like the sports committe in college because they frequently organizes competetions so that i can improve in sports. i got selected for InterNit in Chess.
I like the fests of our college because they are very big and celebreties also come in college and we can enjoy.

Dislikes

The hostel facilites in our in college because hostel are given as per the merit basis you have to secure good marks to get hostel.
Mess food is not good you have to compremiae with the food.
The campus is not very big as per your expectations from jee dreams.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is very good. Non cor placements like jobs in Cs and It are offered very hogh packages , there average package is upto 17 lpa. Which is very good. Apart from non-core , core placements are also very good. Around 80% of people get selected in placements sitting in placement. Average package of college is around 10lpa. I first try for college placements, and then prepare for GATE examinations.

The curriculum is perfect for student to understand their course and best lecturers. Faculty are very helpful in placements or in getting interns .
The concepts explained by teachers are enough to write semester exams the exams are not that much difficult we get time for learning other things
Timings of classes are good and flexible

Dislikes

The infrastructure need to be improved by college and hostel's should be provided to every student which is major problem to every student
Food in mess not that much good. There should be change in food they keep.
Ground for playing is very small that every one at a time cannot play there are only two grounds

Placement Experience:

Maximum students from any course will get placed . In my course there is a percentage of 96 who got placed college make sure that every student get placed . Students are allowed to sit in placements from 7th semester. Many companies visit like visa, Accenture,wipro etc . The highest package this year is 48 lakhs in cse. I want to comolete my ms abroad

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
