I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

The expectations vs the results

Here facultys and placements are good. It would helpful for students getting their jobs very quickly .interaction with seniors.

Dislikes

The canteen would be better and ground space is not enough to play . Hostels are not available it would be the biggest disappointment and events are not good.it so it doesn’t meet my epectations.

Placement Experience:

So in 3rd year the internship will be held and students are very competitive to achieve the internship.in fourth year they are eligible for placements so many companies like amazon ptron vedantu etc would come to our campus offers more packages.so the highest package 48 lpa and average is 12 lpa and we got 2cr package outside the campus. So 90 percent of students will be placed every year. Some do startup's and go abroad for other studies.so my plans are getting a job and start a start up with friends.

About my Best College (NIT Raipur)

I Liked the Studies in the College. I also liked the curriculum of my College.
I also like my friends as they are caring and their helping nature, whenever I feel hungry, they gave me the snacks and the fruits to eat.
I also liked the festivals and the annual functions in the College.

Dislikes

Late night canteen facility is not available.
In the hostel, Sunday dinner mess is closed so we have to go to outside to eat dinner.
After 9 pm the hostel remains closed so we cannot go to the urgent work.

From the third year, we are eligible for the placements in the form of ppo(pre placement offer) along with internship opportunities. In our college, there are famous companies comes to recruite us like Amazon, Google, Oracle, Adobe, Adani, Coal India, and there are very good opportunities for girls. The highest package gone 57.5 LPA given by Adobe. The overall average package gone upto 13.5 LPA which increased compared to last year. In our college 90% students got placed. After completion of my degree I will go to Tech company.

Placement Experience:

A lot of good companies offer opoortunities,these include although list is not exhaustive oracle,musigma,maruti,ABB,Infosys among others. avearge package hovers around 7 lakh per annum with highest ging upto 25 lakhs. approx 80% placement record I chose to use my degree to contribute in civil services and now edtech sector.

Likes

Hostel life, campus life , clubs committee participation, seniors interaction. Faculty interaction are too good
Also there are many fests in nit raipur . Literally you can joy your life in nit raipur.
There are many committee in nit raipur which help to know many ideas other than your study.

Dislikes

I think hsotel food is not too much good but you have to take it.
There are hostel problem in nit raipur that is not good.
Also one thing is not good in nit raipur is you have to take entry before 9 o' clock in hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is too easy to do.in course we will have to study more than we study during jee preparation, even topic name is same. In one word you can say that you can feel that you studying in higher education.

Placement here is very good in my branch and overall also
It is very affordable to study here since you get a lot of scholarship s
The environment is very good and the faculties of IT branch are very good

Dislikes

Hostel facility since it doesn't provide every student
Infrastructure is also not advanced as iits
canteen and library are not in night or after 6pm

Nit Raipur review in 2024

Over all the campus life is good as the campus had may be limited but enough to enjoy
The best thing about nit Raipur is placements especially for IT branch
One more thing which is also best for nit Raipur is the faculty they are so good

Dislikes

Infrastructure for core branches like ece electrcal are limited
Not enough sports facilities you cannot even find some sports like tennis etc
The biggest draw back of nit Raipur is hostel.every one will not get hostel and also hostel seats also contain reservation

Placement Experience:

From second year you will get eligible for internships from fourth year you are eligible for placements approximately 85 percent of students get placed every year with highest 62 lakh this year more than 100 companies visited this year

The best thing about nit raipur is friends and friendly faculty and the game I liked the most is cricket I played for so many days like hell. People in nit raipur are friendly in nature as iam south Indian some senior will rag you but they become fri
And coming to seniors they rag you and then they becomes friend's later on they help you any matter they are more then friend and the infrastructure is lacking here samar will be condected which is sports tournament which we can enjoy equally
In samar tournament we can participate as much as we can sports enthusiastic people can participate sports people very interested in it they are passionate college life is not about studies it is also about sports some inter nit sport's also conducte

Dislikes

The only thing I disliked in nit raipur is infrastructure food and some senior
And sports will not conducted in strict manner
And hostel food is just worst as South Indian we cannot eat North indian food

The campus placement are very good for information technology student's its averages about 18LPA and some other can get into off placement also, the faculty is super fantastic, the students mainly who got skills are placement as soon as possible some are gone to us to get ms

A Comprehensive Review of NIT Raipur

Likes

It is very close to the main city which makes it easy to go out with friends.
College is present in the capital city and transport from railway station is available at all times.
Good amount of quality students and professors.

Dislikes

Lack of accomodation in hostels for all students.
Small campus area with a lot of wasted space.
The main campus infrastructure hasn't been upgraded since a long time.

Placement Experience:

Placements are recently well in this college. Due to recession they are going slow but students are getting placed in companies. To be eligible for placements, students have to be in 4th year. 3rd year students get internships and receive PPOs. In my branch, 90% + students get placed. Although rare, students from 2nd Year might get interns as well. Highest package offered this year was 55 LPA.

Truth about NIT raipur

Likes

Clubs work very properly and this is a platform for students to improve their social relations
Library facilities are very good and computer lab is also very good functioning for coding.
Faculty members are very skilled and provide everything students need to develop

Dislikes

Hostels are very less in number so many students have to find a room outside nit
Sports facilities are very bad they do not maintain ground properly
Mess facilities are very bad and food is also not good in taste

Placement Experience:

Very less percentage of students are placed till now because of recession period and companies offer highest package of fifty five lakh rupees per annum and average salary is very less than last year so students try to get placed very fastly

College area is small as compared to other NITs.
Less no.of seats available for hostels thats why many students didn't get hostels
Infrastructure can be more better than it is

Fourth year students are offered placements from various companies.many known companies like coal India,Wipro , Microsoft companies etc. highest package of the campus goes around 55 lpa and average package of the campus is around 11 lpa. 75% of the students of college get placements. iam also planning for the placement in last year

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
