I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

NIT Raipur college review

Likes

The atmosphere in the college premises was awesome
College is at the centre of the city every thing is near college
The grounds and the canteens were awesome

Dislikes

Not providing hostel for each and every student
The no of buildings in the college was the disliked
The class room were also not good they are just like school classrooms

Placement Experience:

We get a good placements in this college. As our college's average package is 16lakhs and last year's highest package is 34lakhs. As by looking at the numbers you can understand how good our college is at the placement. The companies were also good those are like Capgemini, Google, Hcl, etc

NIT RAIPUR REVIEW

Likes

I like the courses provided in our college and the helping of the faculty to the students in framing a bright future.
I like the unity of the students without bias among them based on the state where they belong to.
I like the fests conducted here such as eclectika and Samar and we frequent holidays.

Dislikes

Hostel food is not so good here. They are not providing tasty food.
Infrastructure is also not so good. Because of it out nit is having very low rank compared to some other nuts
It is not having proper ground for certain games.And everyone don't get chance to play.

Placement Experience:

Placements are moderate in our college. Placements are top in IT,CSE and Mining branches.IT and CSE have good average packages around 16 lakhs. And our nit is famous for mining branch and it has quite good package.

Systematic way of academic, decent placements

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for placements. Amazon,Paytm,jsw...etc. In this year more 200+ offers made. Highest placement reach 6400000 and average package is 1000000. In my branch it is 90percentage of students. I plans is to get a job.

Nir Raipur is a college of fests

Likes

Our college is in the main city and all are available near to us
Our college time table was very comfortable to everyone
Our faculty was so COPURATIVE and understanding our problems

Dislikes

College infrastructure is very old and its not good
Hostel food of our hostel is very bad and many of the south people cant eat this food
There is not specific cricket and football grounds for all sports have only one ground

Placement Experience:

This there will be highest 62laks package will be given by CSE students and other 5 students of it and CSE got more than 50 lakh package but in my branch the placement ratio is around 73 percent most of them not get do to placed due to proper knowledge in those fields. The students who got high package they will have nearly 9 Copa I want to become a software engineer after my degree

Nit Raipur: a heaven

Likes

Food I liked the food here available in the amul and vachan
Playing area in hostel like badminton and volleyball
Fests here amazing fests are going on in the college

Dislikes

Infrastructure it looks like an old building
Hostel facilities not all the students did not get hostel
Small area of campus it's all conjusted and not have good class rooms

Placement Experience:

Students from 6 7 8 semester will have to get a chance to sit in the placement. In our civil branch placement ratio is very less when compared to other branches . It's around 55peecent and in other lower branches like mining and chemical they have a good placement percentage it's around 90percenr more than that also. This year highest package till now is 62

Nit Raipur : A Small Placement collage

Placements when compare to other collages it is just good
Faculty here we have a good faculty and support gives good
Clubs here there is so many club to show our talent in the clubs

Dislikes

No hostel facilities for all students in nit raipur
No good halls for conducting meetings here
Small. Campus not have good campus feeling

Placements will be came in 6 7 8 semester This year highest package till now is 62 in cse branch and 7students from it and cse got above 50 lakhs as package In civil the placement ratio is very less only till now 20 students only placed out of 94

Limited hostel seats and less number hostel
Events are not that much great and exciting
Not so great infrastructure and small campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is Information Technology. I chose this branch because I have a key interest in programming and bcoz of higher placement. I think the curriculum is very good for further academic pursuit and real-world applications The teaching method is poor in some subjects like computer programming, and data structure since mostly i learn programming from platforms like YouTube, google and chatgpt. In college, teachers is more focused on completing the course and theory part of the subject rather than on practical application. there are 2 exams in one semester having a gap of 2 months.

Likes

laboratories and libraries , good interaction with students of other branch.
Placement opportunities provided by the insttute
sport facilities available in the college

hostel is not available for all students

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for campus placements after 6th semester. The companies for mechanical branch are TVS , BPCL, JSW etc. The average package is around 8-9 LPA depending upon the branch. around 85% students get placed every year.

One of the thing I liked is it's hostel which is well located and it is nice in its structure
I also loved central garden which is located at write centre of the campus
Cricket nets is also a loved points amog all , also there is beautiful basketball court is there

Dislikes

Only single gym is there which make uncomfortable for all students
Very less seats for Hostels, ie available only for 50 Percent of the students
Only seniors participate in inter nit sports even if they play worst than a junior

Placement Experience:

•The placement is provided here according to talent of the students different companies participate to placement session •highest package till now I seen is 60 lack which is of it branches and minimum package is 7 lack from medical branch • percentage of students getting placed may less here it may 50 Percent of students only are placed

Placement Experience:

After the ending of 6th sem , on campus placement starts. Top companies offers i.e Amazon,DBOI,DEolite,Wipro,capgemini,Infosys,Adobe ,BHEl,TCS etc. Approx 90 % students get placed at the end of final sem. IN the Electrical branch there is so much scope for post graduation /Gate etc. Highest and average package for Electrical branch in core 22lakh and average is 11 lpa.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
