I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

The curriculum is good for future opportunities
The campus is equipped with hostels and mess
Extra curricular activities are also supported

Hostel availability is very less for students
Transportation availability is not there
Campus is small as compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

7 Out of 10 for the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensive.I like to do higher study and want to be a professor.Here we get a good guduance of professor you may do research in your specific domain which you like. AREA OF IMPROVEMENT There is some irrelevant things is in syllabus which is outed and lab equipment be updated.

The curriculum was based on the fidget chemistry and mathematics of the 11th and 12th class the curriculum provides a real world application for the further Academics it is well suited the teaching methods was very good for difficulty level was wrong easy to modern

Thinks I like about my college is its placement scenario is very good maximum number of students get placed in college itself. They don't need to wonder much about their career. So many students get's pre placement offers also .
College life is good . Our college conducts so many small and big fests time to time and different clubs also organises so many programs time to time so that students can explore themselves more easily.
Faculties of our college are good . As of every college some faculties are good and some are not . If students is interested the faculties are very helpful for them but if students are not serious and sincere then faculties also avoid them .

Dislikes

The campus size of our college is small. It is only 100 acres of land areas and students studying are around 5000 . Since this campus is very old so this might be sufficient at that time but now it needs to be upgraded and expanded.
Our college does not have sufficient number of hostels . This problem arises due to its small land area . College hostel capacity is roughly around 20% of students. Due to this maximum students need to stay outside of the campus.
In course structure I wants here also some system for minor degree like it happens in iits . I have intrest in computer science but due to lower rank can get that so if there was some system of minor degree in other branche I would do that .

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester. Before that from 3rd year internship also happens . Information regarding companies visited and no of offers made can be fetched by college officials website. Since I am in 1 St year I can tell accurately about that but I know that in terms of this parameter our college is very good. So many reputed companies visits our campus like Amazon , vedanta , reliance , foxcon etc. Highest package goes around 70 to 80 LPA and average package varies as per branch where top branches like it cs gets average of approx 20 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed is also descend, so many branches have almost 100% placement records. This also varies branch wise , higher branches like it cs have more percentage of students placed . My plan after getting degree is Same as of most of engineer , getting good job.

Nit campus typically offers a vibrant andd dynamic environment with diverse Student body
Student have access to wide range of extracurricular activities like sports

Dislikes

Timing boundation in the hostel that is only 9 pm in nights
Campus is small that is is disliked it should be larger
It do not have sports complex that is problem in nit raipur

A Comprehensive Analysis

Examination System - their examination system is very good and supplementary examination and make up examination also conduct by the institute
College Faculty - College faculty is nice. Our HOD sir is very helpful and nice behavior.
No Ragging - In our college their is ragging is not allowed in the college which is some time goods for students.

Dislikes

Campus - College campus is very small. All the departments are nearly located.
Hostels - Their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. Their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
Grounds - Their ground condition is also not good. grounds are in very bad condition.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. from 7th sem students are able to sit in the college placements and from 5th sem students are able to sit in internship programs. NIRF ranking is also good of this college and company is come in regular basis. But there some big companies like Google,Apple ,Amazon not come. For these company students have to apply off campus. in my branch biotechnology placement ratio is very less according 40% in good condition but now a days company also refuse for employees. If any student not placed than some students go for civil servise and some goes for CLAT. there are many companies will come some are - Phonepe , ZS ,Jindal ,Delloite ,Pharmace etc.

NIT Raipur ki Dunia

Likes

College contains so much greenery which attracts students to sphere more time in campus
Course is easy as compared to private colleges
Semester gets completed in 4 months which is good

Dislikes

Campus is small as compared to another NITs so there we need development
Our college seems like old fashioned sir construction is needed at some places
No picnic tours and not that much holidays

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students are allowed to sit for campus selection selection rate for civil this year is 85% which is approximately 78 students out of 91which is way too good if there is no campus selection it's not the huge issue we can give gate exam apply for govt. Job and so may things to explore

NIT Raipur from the perspective of a fresher.

Likes

I liked the events and festival in NIT Raipur .The are very good for us as we get to interact with other students in the college.
The placement opportunities and the internship opportunities are very good in NIT Raipur.
All the senior that we got here are very helpful in alla the aspects they always help us and try to save the problem.

Dislikes

Hostels for every studying in NIT Raipur I also love outside the college .
The interaction with the teachers and the machines in labs are old and not accurate.
The boy girl ratio in our college is very low .

Placement Experience:

From sixth semester students become eligible for placements the latest offer for highest placement is Microsoft I'm total 350 and more companies visit our college for placements and placement season is like a festvin our college. The highest package given is 56 lacs per year The percentage of placement is also very good I don't know much about the other branches but the percentage for chemical engineering students is 96 . After getting a degree I will be preparing for Indian Engineering services.

Campus is very green . availability of facilities near college like Hospital , Gardens.
teachers are very supportive and help in every way .
placement package are very high as i had expected

Hostels are not available for every students .
Mess food is not good , good hotels are also not available near college
college total campus area is small . bad infrastructure

Placement Experience:

On campus pacement is provided in my college . every year companies like Facebook , Amzon , adobe comes for placement interviews . From third year students are eligible for placement . highest package of my college in this year is 6300000 and the average package is 1800000 per year . approx 84% of students are getting placed every year . my paln after degree is to get a jot at Facebook

Campus is small it is in 100 acere only.
Sports facilities are bad and gym is also small.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
