I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Nit Raipur

Likes

The sports facilities and the Seniors are well behaved.
Nothing to like about the faculty. Same as any other college
Hostel is not so good. And the guards are useless but pretend to be the boss

Dislikes

Useless guards. Pretend to be the boss but cant even handle a single responsibility
No place for playing sports except for the cricket ground

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good. Pretty stable and every year keeps improving.just maintain your cli and work upon your skills if you want high paid jobs and well established companies likes Amazon and google.

My college's MCA course has top-notch facilities. The computer labs, classrooms, and library are tailored to meet our specific needs.
It's great to hear that the student section at our college is efficient and responsive.

Despite my college's strengths, the placement scenario is a concern. The limited opportunities and inadequate support in securing placements have
My college, being old, has a traditional charm, but the classrooms are outdated. The lack of modern facilities affects the learning environment.
The absence of hostel facilities for PG students impacts our campus life significantly. Commuting daily affects participation in extracurricular activities and hampers the overall immersive experience.

Placement Experience:

For MCA students of 5th semester placement session starts from end of July to November. Many companies make there presence like ZScaler, Deloitte, Amdocs, Optum, Intellect Design Arena and many more. Due to recession the offers are made are much lesser as compared to our senior batch. Only 25 students got placed out of 98 as of now. And 80 out of 104 for the batch of 2020 - 2023.

In 5 the semester are eligible in mca branch are for campus placements . Name of the companies like optum , tcs , infosis ,tech mahindra , etc. Higest packege as a 26 lpa in z scaler and none of the ratio of lowest.

campus life was quite good and teachers are also helpful and good
library at nit raipur is huge and has proper wifi facility
good infrastructure, good building and good parking facility

Dislikes

college timming is too bad its from morning 9 to evening 5
no gaps in exams in end semester as well as mid semester
college gate closed at 9 in night so we cant enjoy night light

The placements are quite good but this year it was reccession so many of us didnt got placed. companies like google, amazon, phonepay visited this year in thi collage. this year only 25percentage of student got placed

Placements are decent. 70+ placed out of 100
Faculty: Faculty members are generally very helpful, curriculum is old but nyou won't feel much pressure.

Dislikes

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is poor entire building is very old. Wi-Fi is available in most of the campus.

Facts of NIT raipur

Likes

Accessibility to the city as the college is in the middle of the town
The campus life depends of the type of friends you have so totally a individual factor
The street food around the college is the best as that what you will like after having your hostel food

Dislikes

Placement is not going up and half of the CSE batch is placement less this year
The campuslife is dead if you looking for fest like IIT bombey
The faculty could be better and helpful, they are cooperative but still they are overdo ers

The placement last yr was much better then this year. The market is low so don't keep your expectations high as every college is facing the same issue. Last year we had the highest LPA of 34.2lpa which was a CTC so in hand you will get around 1lpa every month and you know where the amount is a CTS

Clubs and committees and fest annd events organize by them
Green campus located at the centre of city raipur
Seniors and faculty are very supporting and helping.

Dislikes

Not all students were alloted hostels in campus.
Admin building is old and small unlike other NIT.
Only two ground were there for sports activities in campus.

Our institute is among top NIT in terms of providing placement almost all mega company provide placement in our campus the highest placement is 57 lakh and the average is about 10 lakhs per anum apart from placement student also prepare for IES & GATE.

Knowing NIT Raipur

Likes

Infrastructure is good, it provide 3 canteen for student to relax, and 4 gardens where students can spend their free times.
Campus life is the best, with each and every faculty member is supportive and guide in every phase of life.
Placement scenario us about 80 to 90 percent in every field, and it increases to 90 to 99 percent for metallurgy and mining students.

Dislikes

It has very minimal land, it is spread only in 90 acers which is very low in comparison of other NITs.
It has one main building and all classes of every department is conducted in that building only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doing mca is the best option if you want to go to technical field after graduation. Here faculty member are very supportive with so much creative idea and educational offers. Teachers and students ratio is 8:9. All teachers are very well qualified done Phd from renowned IITs and NITs and have done may researchs. There is 2 examination per semester one mid sem and another end sem with quality level of difficulty of question making student to work hard to clear their paper.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
