I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

NIT Raipur at a glance

Likes

Campus of the college is very awesome and it is in 100 acre
Sports facilities are very good, gym are fully equipped
Hostel are very good and dispensary is also provided for medical treatment

Dislikes

I don't like the area where college is situated because area expensive

Placement Experience:

After 6 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. In my branch companies like coal India, Vedanta, and Tata Steel visit here and offer a job of 8lpa and above. In my branch highest package in non-core is 55 lpa and in core is 22 lpa. Around 92% of students get placed. I will go for a job in core.

Amazing

Likes

The location of the college is very nice.
Central garden near the main building is also a great place to hangout.
The campus is very clean and greenery is maintained everywhere.

Dislikes

The thing I disliked the most is the hostel facilities.
There is a lack of junior and seniors interaction.
Campus area of our college is not so huge.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here are started in the month of August usually and end till the session is completed. The average package this year is around 14lpa. Many core and non-core companies have visited till now. The highest package offered in our branch till now is 24lpa.

Likes

The first thing i liked the most is the location of the college.
The second thing i liked is the quality of teaching.
The third thing i liked is the opportunities in our college.

Dislikes

The thing i disliked the most the problem of hostel accomodation.
Second thing is the lack of interaction between juniors and the seniors.
Third thing is the small campus area which is only around 100 acres.

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement is decent. This year the average package offered is around 13-14lpa. The placements are still going on for the session 2020-24. The height package till now is 55lpa. It was offered by Adobe.

NIT Raipur Review

Likes

Infrastructure is not as much good as compared to other nit's
Placement is better from lots of other nit's
Faculties are highly qualified and there way of teaching is also good

Dislikes

Infrastructure is bad as compared to other nit's
Also all the students don't get opportunity to stay at hostel
There is only one main building of college

You can apply for placement from 3rd year onwards. Mostly all the company came here Highest package of college was 2 crore as of my knowledge and average was 10 lacs 95% students gets placed and some students decides to study futher

I liked is that the college structure and the buildings
Actually the another thing is I am a South girl I don't know Hindi but coming learned Hindi now I am speaking in hindi it is nice

Dislikes

I disliked is that no hostels people are so many problems some could not find the hostel
The exams were very tough
Faculty is not good here some teachers come to class say some story

The students get placements in the 6th semester onwards so if they study well they also get money from internships I did not do anything because my 2 nd semester only finished so the highest is 21lakhs per annum and the lowest is 3 lakhs per annum and the average was 9 lakhs per annum percentage for 100 only 60 per cent is eligible remaining no jobs I planned to study MTech in IIT and do ms in foreign

Likes

Teachers are good campus is very greenary and college classroom s are very well
Campus was good than other college of chhattisgarh
Campus placement of it sector is very good in our college

Dislikes

Some teachers are tamprory the are not good teach .
Campus placement was not good of all branches .
Only it sector have good placement but not other branches get good placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a professional course and after graduation, we can get decent jobs NIT is a reputed institute so we can get jobs easily compared to other colleges and courses students student ratio is good teachers are highly qualified it is a very hard exam.

NIT raipur pros and cons

Likes

Greenery in campus and clubs and committee.Also th3 fests are quite amazing.
Fests are quite amazing and incredible Can't describe in few words.
Cricket is good here and a lot of Cricket tournament happens.

Dislikes

Campus is really really small like 100 acres is very less.
Some faculties are not as good and campus is small.
Facilities for all sports are not available.

Placements are decent and just good for a Nit. The average is around 11lpa and branchwise Placement is also revealed. The good thing is that lower branches also get good Placement. Even if you are from mining you have a great opportunity.

Faculty behaviour towards students , they are really supportive if you are good
Fests/events - every week something is going on . You will get lots of opportunities to participate in various fun events
Canteen - this is the best part of NIT Raipur campus. We have 3 canteens(bihan canteen , Vachan canteen , Indian coffee house (premium star level), 1 Amul parlour.

Dislikes

lack of hostels is most probably the major issue in NIT Raipur since many years. Though there are many private pg's in surrounding. But this issue needs to be fixed .
Campus size is not so big . We want more to explore Its just about 100 acres . Still the college main building too massive you won't be able to explore entire building in 1 year. All classes from first year to fourth year btech runs in same block
Gym timings suck . Its only 2 hours open in evening for boys and in morning for girls.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent. It doesn't not matter from which branch you are . If you have skills and have a cgpa of above 7-7.5 most companies allow students from every branch to sit for placements. If you are decent in studies and you managed to brush up your skills in these four years . You will grab a good package despite whatever your branch is.

I am 1st year student so I have less experience with placements but from nitrr official link placement is good many companies can visit college highest package in 2023 is 57 lpa and avg is 10lpa percentage of students getting placed is 70 to 80%

Best review for nit raipur

Likes

Atmosphere is competitive which makes you to use full potential
Clubs and fest makes your mind works smarter and different
Nice lush green campus with good food quality in canteen

Dislikes

There is less hostels available in nit raipur
Too many assignments with quick deadline
You won't get proxy because professors are strict

From the third semester students become eligible for placements and will get campus internships if they have skills there are multiple companies like Capgemini, Reliance, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant, and Wipro which will give an average package of 10.01 lpa.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
