I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

A journey to nit Raipur

Likes

The most loved thing is freedom, we are open to go outside of college,.
The ragging free environment of our institute
We get enough time for extra curricular activities,

Dislikes

Time boundaries,for our hostels,it is for 1st year
Unavailablity of night canteen, unlike other nits or iits
Small campus area, that's why we don't get hostel too.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem. Students are eligible for placement, each year , companies came in campus, in period of whole year, they take interview and select the students, and last we get placed all students. Even some have low package.i am thinking about doing m.tech after this.

Good faculty is provided who are absolutely good at what they are teaching
Good atmosphere is maintained with in the premises of the college
Good compititive nature between the students which give room to grow more

Dislikes

Hostel is not provided to everyone It is based on your performance
Placement percentage droped this year due to recission going on due to covid

Placement Experience:

To be eligible for campus placement we have to be in 7th semester ie. From your fourth year Ther are many big MNCs which visits our campus for placement like JSW,detolite,Mahindra,Google,infosis,tata,tcs,tata steel etc. The highest package of 2023 is around 55 lpa at an average of 12 lpa Percentage of students placed are around 70-80

Hostels are good and management of hostels are also good as they are in the hands of student as all the student has to manage the hostel no other answer entities involved in the hostels
College events are taking place at continuously and the time it was it has to be there regular sessions of speakers on weird long chain of speakers coming and telling about their experience is
College in first textile is also good we have a lots of space in our college it's has a canteen and amur parlour where we can set and hang out for quite of hours

Dislikes

College do not have a proper space for all the things which is more occupied by the teachers but not by the swing

The college do not have a dance club that is one of the greatest one having

My college has a decent placement record as for the records it's highest package was 54 lacs and due to that it as a good placement scenario in our college college provide all the message City required for the placement it built or personality due to which that helps us to get crack a high package

A Detailed review on NIT Raipur

Likes

The Committees and Clubs available in the colleges
The Central garden where we can study or spend our leisure time
The location where the college is situated

Dislikes

The Library where only few students can be accommodated
The Hostel availability for girls and boys
The gym inside the campus is small with very less equipments

Placement Experience:

I am doing my first year. I don't have much idea about placements. But I think from 3rd year, students can sit for the interview. Few famous companies also offered placements to the students before. I am planning on getting a job through on-campus interviews

infrastructure is good, highly spacious .
clubs and commities are good and give one of the best fest.
library have lot of books which help us when we are in need of books.

Dislikes

sometimes foods of hostel little bit oily

Placement Experience:

FRom 5th semester students are most probably available for placements. highly offered companies are Infosys, Tata, Barclays, reliance oracle and many more. Hiighest package was off 55 LPA given to IT student. Percentage vary from branch to branch of students getting placed overall 95-98% students get placed.

The college is good in its structure and in its site plan
The college is situated in the main city
Large area is free and all those free spaces are filled with trees

Dislikes

Less hostel because of that less students will only get hostel
Less academic programs and functions in the college
The building structure is old and toilets are bad

The college used to give good placements for the students. It is baced on the course and branches. B tech students used get good placements but b atch students are less. In b tech almost 40 %of the students will get high packages

The faculty was their was very friendly so
The senior was very supportive towards thier juniors
There was no ragging taken by senoirs of juniors

The campus was very small as conpared to other’s nits
The infrastructure was not up to the marks
The fest is not that much grand as in other colleges

We are eligible for placement in 3 sem itself. There is aqueqte companes come for placement taking about my branch that is biotechnology there is 22 lpa highest package and 10 lpa average package. But about 70 percent student get palced

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
