I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

The college has a record of 100% placement. The placement committee is extremely dedicated and professional, and they are able to bring a large number of organisations to campus for placement. The batch's highest package was approximately 20 LPA, while the average package was approximately 12 LPA. During 2nd year students can go for of campus internships but most of the students avail this during 3rd year and on campus placement is organized by Placement Cell of NIT RAIPUR during 4th year. Average is 8.5 lacs per annum.

The placement scenario is great for the circuital branches like CSE, IT, ECE, and EE. For core branches also there are various companies which come to the campus for recruitment. In my branch, which is Biomedical Engineering, the placement is average as most of the students go for higher studies.

NIT Raipur study life

Placement Experience:

My college has dedicated placement cell and the placement rate of the college is decent. The institute is ranked 18th for placement. In my batch, out of 25 students, 20 students got placed. The top companies visiting for placements are Capgemini, cognizant, Infosys, Vedanta, Pradan, MU Sigma, Infotech, L&T, 3D PLM Software etc. The average salary is 6.2 LPA and highest salary package is around 9 LPA.

Very good NIT for placement

Placement Experience:

This is a placement college,from Computer science is approx 96 percent students got placed,some of the students go for Higher studies .here is the best thing about college that even if you are not from CS branch still you can get placed in software companies, Avg package of college is 10lpa And for CS average package is 15 lpa amd median is 12 lpa. Highest package was 62 lakh by google this year, companies like tata steel,oracle Infosys,larsen turbo frequently visited and offers good package

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
