I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

NIT Raipur Review

Placement Experience:

In electrical branch placements are good. This time the overall average package of all branches gone is 9,70,000. Around 92 companies visited the campus this year and 599 offers were made to nitrr students. In electrical branch, if you want a job in tech company, around 70% -80% allows students to sit for placement. This data varies as we go down the branch. Placements to students are offered in 4 th year and interships are provided in 3 rd year. One can even apply for off campus placements. To sit for placement, students should maintain a cpi of 8- 8.5 which can be easily maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is very vast. The faculty finish the syllabus on time. All the professors are great they have very good knowledge and they also clear the doubt if any. The exams are very tough but if read the syllabus serious you won't get into much trouble

Placements start from the 3rd year. there are many companies including core, coding and analytics as well...there are some public sector units that visit for campus recruitment. The highest package last year was about 55-60lpa. placements of core and coding branches are nearly 100%. moreover, many students prepare for competitive exams like a gate, CAT and GRE for their passion for further studies...

Placement Experience:

Placement in the college is excellent highest placement this year for the computer science is 1 crore and the average package is 20 lakh for cs and it. Placement rate in this college for IT sector and computer science is 100% and also for all the branches. For non-core branches is also excellent with the average package of 6 to 7 lakh.

Over the years the placement of our college have improved drastically. Avg package for chemical branch is around 8.5 lpa. While the median package of the college is nearly around 8.5. delloite , zs associates , tcs are some of the recruiters. Around 78% of our whole college was placed . It and cse had the highest placements , max package was around 50- 60 lpa. Roles offered are mojorly sde and dara analyst. I would personally do job after my degree

Placement Experience:

The college has seen growth in placement in past years and it will increase further. More than 100 companies visit our campus if you have done something in your 4 years you may get some good offers. You get eligible for placement for 7 semesters. 80% of students get placement and some go for higher studies, government jobs or get off-campus placements. In Raipur, you can get coaching for CAT and GATE.

Nit Raipur a amazing college

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is very good. The highest package offered was 2 crores (off campus) and 57 lacs per annum (on campus) in the CSE branch. Students in the 8th semester are eligible for campus placement. The famous companies like Amazon Microsoft Google Cisco and 100's other companies reach nitrr every year. The average package last year was 10 LPA more than 95 % of the students of CSE and IT got placed and for ECE more than 84% of students got their placements. placement for core branches is not satisfactory but it is good in comparison to other Nits. They have to try off-campus placement

Fairly well performing college NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester itself, students begin to fetch pre placement offers by several popular companies like Microsoft, Google Adobe, TCS, etc with almost 70% students receiving offers. The Highest alloted package was around 1.98 Crores which was by facebook(now meta). Lowest package was observed to be 8lakhs per annum. Amost 80% of students are required to possess various skills and knowledge to get placed easily. After graduating from my college, I plan to get into an IIM for a management degree.

Placements are decent, no need to worry if you are in CS/IT/ECE/EE branches, just focus on your coding skills then no matter in which branch you are in, you will get your placement. In 2021, the highest package was 2 Crore per annum by Meta(Facebook), and students are placed in Google, Amazon, and Microsoft.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
