I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Placement Experience:

This is a placement college, from electrical approx 85 percent students got placed, some of the students go for higher studies and some for gate preparation, here is the best thing about college that even if you are not from CS branch still you can get placed in software companies, Avg package of college is 10lpa And for electrical avg package is 9lpa The highest package was 62 lakh by google this year, companies like tata steel, Infosys, and Larsen turbo frequently visited and offers good packages.

Excellent placement college

Placement Experience:

Students started placed from 7th semester.overall average placement is 7.3 lpa for all branches. For my Electrical branch average is 9.2 lpa this year,and improving every year with 86 percent get placed.I will apply for software on campus placement after getting degree

Placements of NIT RAIPUR is its strength. It has decent placements and has an edge over several other NITs. This year around 75% students got placed with an average package of 10.20 lpa. The highest CTC was offered in IT branch of 57.5 lpa while highest package offered to CSE and ECE was 55 lpa. Even the core have decent offers like for Electrical average package was about 9.7 lpa , for MME it was around 9.3 lpa, for Civil 8.6 and so on.

Placement Experience:

My college provides for best placement opportunities like almost all the students are placed and the average package provided by the college is around Rs. 1200000 and the highest package is around Rs. 2500000. Many good companies like cognizant, Accenture and IBM visits our campus

NIT Raipur Review

Placement Experience:

Placements are very good and avg also increase year by year from 6.7 to 9.7 in 4 years. our college is doing a very good job in placements and internships. almost 97 per cent of CSE got placed and in electrical almost 90 per cent. but in mechanical and civil or chemistry biomedical things are not the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am in the first semester as much I have seen the faculty members here are good. They are all PhD professors and have great knowledge in their particular subjects. There are different types of courses in this college Like cs, it, ee etc. These courses are available for students as per their jee mains percentile. My course name is electrical engineering And this one is one of the best courses in this college

Placements are quite good here and increasing every year. Around 90 companies visited the institute in 2021 and around 600 offers were given. The abg package of the institute was 9.7 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered was of 62 lakhs per annum and the company offering the placement was Bite Dance. I too am looking forwars to grab the placement opportunities after my B.Tech degree.

My dream College Nit raipur

Placement Experience:

The average package increased from 9.5 lakhs (2020) to 9.7 lakhs (in 2021). The total number of jobs offered was 599 and the number of companies visited was 92. The major companies include amazon, TCS, Accenture, etc. Nearly 70-80% of the companies give chance to electrical students to sit in the tech placements. I also wish to get a decent job at the institute

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
