I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

College Review (NIT Raipur)

Remarks:

Positive: It is growing tremendously and incorporating new essentials. Recently they are stressing on innovation and entrepreneurship among students. The placement scenario has skyrocketed in past 2 years which is really great. The student community i.e seniors, juniors and alumni is really great. Negative: We need more hostels to accommodate students.

The story of NIT

Remarks:

The most major disadvantage of this college is not having enough hostel facility for the students. Hostels are alloted to the students based on Jee ranks in first year and based on pointer in the following year's.

Remarks:

I love my college and i have positive impression towards it. Placements,attendance and enjoyment considering all these our college is good. But our college lacks in many facilities which has to be managed in future. Hostels are not provided for all students. This is negative for our college

Remarks:

the attendance criteria of 75% Hostel infrastructure is not good as in 1st year this institute gives hostel on jee mains rank ,for general hostel cut off rank is about 26000.and it varies for home state as well as according to category ,and almost 70-80% get hostel in 1st year but onward 2nd year ,only 30 %get hostel on the basis of end semester performance.

I am going to review my college NIT Raipur

Remarks:

An negative review is that this college has not the standard infrastructure of proper NIT. The playgrounds are worse. You can't dive while playing. There is no grass on ground. Hostel facilities are not for all students.

Our college have good placement in All branches except Biomedical, Biotechnology branch. It's very old and very facilitated college having good knowledge and experience teacher's and also cultural of our college is very good. Ragging free campus.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
