I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Remarks:

College is a bit small in terms of area as compared to other nits. But academics is very good and the flow is excellent. The placement statistics are also improving day by day. The College structure is getting better

Remarks:

Positives : The Strong alumni network. Enough opportunities to develop co-curricular skills. Well equipped labs and gym. Negatives: Hostel facility not available for everyone. The infrastructure and campus is not very big.

Remarks:

One major drawback i felt when i came here was that the college does not provide hostel to everyone, only if you have good pointers then only you can live in college hostel otherwise you have to find hostels outside.

There is nothing to write by this topic but last 4 years in our college 3 incident are happen those are suicide for our college irresponsibility so it is too hard to say with you if it is like continue this the college may be closed

Remarks:

NIT RAIPUR is a Institute of National Importance. I feel proud to be a part of this college. Infrastructure can be more improved but due to lack of space management is contrained. Institute is focusing more on research.

Good availability of resources. Decent workload, good faculties and infrastructure old but yet satisfactory. Lack of hostels is a issue but good locality and availability of hostels and PG at reasonable cost helps.

Remarks:

Hostels are not given to all the candidates over here. This is one of the biggest drawback of NIT Raipur. Hostel is only given to those candidates who topped the exams. It is purely on the CPI basis with appropriate reservation. This is one of the biggest drawback rest facilities are good but it can be improved.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
