DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements begin from 7th semester and continue till 8th semester. The college visited by a lot of companies during these two semesters. If you wish to be on the software side for jobs and happen to be in a software related branch the placement is fairly easy to get. However placements for core branches like mechanical, civil, electrical are limited. The placement percentage is fairly good with and 80% rate. Highest packages can go upto 30-40 lacs and the average is around 7 lacs.

After fourth semester students gets eligible for oncampus paid internships. And in seventh sem they get eligible for placements. Lot of companies from every sector visit campus. for SDE roles average package is 12 lpa, for core roles avg package is 6lpa and for non tech roles avg. package is 8 lpa. almost every eligible student gets placement.

Placements are top notch and maybe the best part of the college. Even For off campus placements colleges provide a considerable brand value but other than that students from the 6th sem are eligible for campus internships. The highest package offered was around 55 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed depends upon the branch.

from 3rd year students start getting placements and internship offers. a whooping 2000 companies visit DTU and appx all tech students get placed and non tech only lesser are left. The highest package of dtu is 1.07 crore and the average package is 11.7 lac per annum.

Basically I'm from non-technical branch so I prepare for non-technical placement in University. DTUs is best place for get placement in non-technical branch. There's too good average package price in DTU. Here's very good environment of coding Senior can helps junior through webinar & discussion about the placement. From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Many tech giants and great companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Wipro, and others often visit campus and offer very good packages. The highest package sometimes reaches to crores and the average package is also around 12 lacs which is good. Almost all the ones who want to get placed get placement. My plan after getting a degree isn't to get placed but to become an entrepreneur.

I chose Economics because I was interested in learning more about human needs and wanted to have a global perspective inclining towards economics. Faculty is top-notch, best professors with exalted academic standards. Offline we have two end-term exams and a mid-term exam but as we know now everything is online it's quite tedious and hectic with project proposals, 4 exams for each subject inclusive of surprise tests.

Students are eligible for Internships from 1st year. Placements begin in the 4th year. Very Prestigious Companies come every year like Facebook, Amazon, Optum, CapeGemini and many other MNCs are yearly vistitors and offer high-end packages to the students. Normally all students get placed who sit in for the placements.

Delhi Technological University Good aspect- 1. 75% Attendance factor is not that strict.2. Great college life and hostel lifePursue any activity of your choice. 3. Join any society ( music, dance,arts. computer, cricket, badminton, table tennis. enterpreneurship) 4. Class bunking is frequent5.Great peers, lots of learning, more competition menas more improvement6. Amazing fests and parties, many celebrities visit campus in 4 years, lots of fests from Technical fest to cultural fests.7. Major project often includes research paper which helps to have publication under your name.Bad Aspect - 1. Most important while selecting - lots of students means greater competition for same job, competition is high in on campus placement as compare to NSUT or NIT or IIT.2.
