Placement Experience:

Placement sessions are very good. They have provided almost 80-90 % of placements. DTU has arranged multiple no of placement coordinators for different streams. Multiple MNCs visit DTU for hiring. The highest package is almost about 1.5 crore. The average package is around 15lpa.

Remarks:

Pros of DTU:1. It has a great infrastructure (campus area of about 170 acres), a great auditorium, sports complex and library. I enjoyed an excellent campus life and in the past 1 year, a lot has been added to the infra of DTU. 2. A great hub for co-curricular activities. Being in Delhi, DTU is a melting pot of a variety of cultures and students from all over who come with a myriad of talents and join the dramtics, music and debating clubs. 3. A great placement record - some of the best companies like BCG, Visa, Goldman Sachs, and many more come to DTU to offer placements to its students. Cons of DTU1. Across India, the brand name is often not as much heard of as IITs , BITS and NITs. 2. Earlier, there used to be a shortage of hostels but recently more hostels have been added so that issue should get sorted now.

Placement Experience:

In 3rd year students are eligible for placements. Being a 1st-year 1st-semester student I don't have much idea about it. The college conducts internship weeks every year in which various companies both startups and established companies take part. I plan to do MBA after the degree.

Remarks:

If you are thinking about a brand name to be associated with your resume, yes you are at the right place . Campus interviews here give you many chance to try out in as many companies as possible. Just maintain 75% overall and you will be eligible for every campus recruitment here. The placement percentage is 40%. The highest package offered is 24 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are De Shaw, Goldman Sachs, SAP Labs, Oracle, Oyo, Microsoft, General Electric, ZS Associates etc. The percentage of students getting internships is 30%.You will always get the teachers who know nothing of the subject and can't even speak properly . And the best thing they end up making the student understand in english (FACEPALMS). In first year, the lab assistants and teachers would be like ,"How dare you do that?? I am gonna detain you. I am gonna fail you." THIS IS A TRUTH that some staff people here are over proud and don't even answer properly and will always threaten you for failing you. I told my examiner after 20 minutes of exam that i gave a phone by mistake and guess what happened in front of exam heads, he shouted like a monster and threw me out , not accepting that he never mentioned to put our phones to him.If you join here, just be with your friends and don't get indulged with teachers . ITS COLLEGE. Spend some quality time , do learn if it appeals to you not if your college mates are doing it

Placement Experience:

Students who have completed their 2nd year and started their 3rd year are eligible for campus internships here. For campus placements, companies start their recruitment while the student has just started their 4th year. Due to the corona pandemic, fewer companies came for placement last year. However, many good companies like Google, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley etc visited for placement and hired students with decent salaries last year. The highest package for last year was 50 lakhs given by Google for the post of Software Developer (SDE) for international posting and for domestic the highest package offered was 35 lakhs by Deloitte for the post of Research Analyst. A total of around 1200 offers were made by all the companies which visited altogether. The average package for Computer Science was 14 lakhs, for ECE it was around 10 lakhs and for the rest of the branches, it was around 6 to 7 lakhs per annum. Around 80 percent of students were placed last year.
