My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

Internships at IITD

Likes

Food here was really great. There are lot of variations.
College life here is something i really love.
The professors here are quite friendly and helpful.

Dislikes

Hostel rooms are not that great snd needs repair.
Academic load is too much here. Need to study a lot.

Placements are in the fourth year. 300+ companies make a visit here. The highest offer this time was 4Cr. 17LPA was the average package. The Institute does not officially releases the exact stats, unfortunately. I will go for UPSC civil services preparation after getting a degree

I like the exposure a person gets here by his/her seniors as senior junior relationship here is what I must say the best I have ever seen
I like the fests that are conducted
I like the food quality and diversity they provide in hostel messes messee

I dislike the course structure that is made here

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. Many companies in various domains like HFT, Finance, Consulting, core, analyst, management, and product management come to campus and offer a satisfactory amount of seats to students. In recent placements, the highest offer was made to a student of 4 crores pa by Jane street. Around 70-80% of students get placed.

Great IIT

Likes

The cultural activities and various club in IIT Delhi.
There is also a great opportunity in startup.

Dislikes

Work load of course is quite heavy in IIT Delhi.
Mess charge of hostel in IIT Delhi is high.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT Delhi is very good and the average package is nearly 18 lakh per month. In December month placement season start and over 200 companies come to recruit the students Above 90 per cent of students get placed in different companies.

Placement Experience:

After the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements, after the 6th semester the 7th and 8th semesters are specifically for internships. Apple, Microsoft, Google and more than fifty 1 crore offers were made. The highest package is about 2 crores The average package is 30 lakhs Due to the recession, the placement percentage dropped but usually, 90 per cent of students get placements. Review of IIT Delhi

Likes

I liked the food availability, not just the mess but the night mess and canteens, no one can complain
I like the diversity among the students as from all over the country students come here
I like the fact that almost everything is managed by students here, from deciding the menu of the mess to organizing fests

Dislikes

There is a lot of rat race like coding and statpadding for co curriculars

Placement Experience:

4th year students sit for their placmenets and the general record of iit delhi has been amazing. Average package has been around 20l. Each year there are a lot of both, domestic and international placements. Almost all the students gets placed. Apart from placements, the startup culture of iit delhi is the best in the country and I am looking to do startup later in my career

Likes

Life at IIT is enthralling , beautifull , worth remembering
Placements are the main pride of IIT and reason why it is famous.
Clubs at IIT as they help you develop any talent you never had time for earlier.

Dislikes

Hostel facilites at IIT are not in very good condition.
Girl boy ration in IITD is relatively low as compared to other IITs.
Curicculum of IITD is regarded as rather tough is comparison to other IITs

Placement Experience:

Placement is good with some students even securing 4 crore packages. The average package is around 15-18 LPA. Placements are well catered to and proper training is given to students. No student goes back home without being offered a package.

IIT D : A complete college

Likes

The academic infrastructure is really good.
The campus is very secure, for me and my belongings.
The location of the college is really prime, and you a good eating market just outside the college.

Dislikes

The academic load is quite high here at IIT Delhi.
The gym is not that good and timing slots are very small.
The sex ratio in the campus is still near to 1:4, which is better than most engineering colleges but still low. The girls and boys hostel are a little far away.

Placement Experience:

Ofcourse, the placements are best here. Whethr it core jobs, finance, consulting, or tech. Placeemnts are offered at about the end of 7th semester, and we have near to 100% placemnet record. The highest plackages internationally go upto 2.5 - 3CRs, and domestically 1.5 Cr. The average is around 20-25 Lakhs.

Life in IIT Delhi

Likes

Hostel, Courses and the exposure that I got here are fabulous.
I believe that no amount of money can buy me this experience
The IIT life is on thing that not a single one of us would ever forget.

Dislikes

THe mess food, what do I say about it
The attendance policy that requires you attend 75 % of the lectures
I believe that there are not much things to be disliked

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is one of the top tier government colleges in country , and this B.Tech. in CSE is the top course here The student faculty ratio is around 15:1 and is really great. The faculties here are top notch, their Backgrounds are just inspiring and damn good. The exam is hell lot difficult, in fact JEE is second most difficult exam after UPSC only.

dream comes true at IIT DELHI

Likes

the thing i liked the most is the sports facilities at campus , i love it
other is the hostel life at IIT DELHI , you spend your life's most enjoying hours at the hostels
the annual festivals including RDV and TRYST .

Dislikes

the study curriculum is too much loaded , you run all day for classes and labs , but again it has its own fun
another thing is the hard courses you need to be a fighter to get a good grade in the courses
too much politics is here in IIT DELHI , i mean everything happening must have a political background

placements in IIT DELHI is very very good , almost every final year students gets placed in his 7th semester , yeah the placements starts in the 7th semester , there are thousands of companies who visit here to hire students including google microsoft etc. 75% of the students who are in there final year gets placed in IIT DELHI my plan is to secure a good job

competition is a highlight that creates a sense of leaving behind
saying no to attention but generalizing things
you are on your won here as well the way you were alone before coming here

people after passing look out for job opportunities in design. some join architecture while the majority get into product designing and UI/UX as a profession. some even get on to start their own design firms.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
