There is no hike in the tution fees per year 2,40,000 yes there are many government scholarships college also gives scholarahips yes college provides campus placements internships and much more help for projects
Technical and social fests are really interested and very good .all the clubs work so hard to encourage the students .
Hostel rooms are 2 sharing and have all necessary things like aur conditioners,bed, mattress, study table etc.rooms are clean and comfortable too.

Dislikes

The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.
Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students
Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me

Campus life is good as the it includes the overall development of the students
Infrastructure structure of the college is very nice
Placement are very good as it offer good amount of package

Dislikes

Needs the improvement in the mess food .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing petroleum engineering because it is one of the most different branches also it also includes other branches like chemical, mechanism Geomechanics. Faculty are good, all are mostly with the doctorate degree. There are two exams mid sem and end-sem exams.

Likes

The Night life of the area is very good.
The Hostels are very good with all the facilities
The Opportunity one gets here is unmatched.

Dislikes

The Mess food can be better and is an area of improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For Petroleum Engineering the course curriculum is excellent. There's a batch division for every 50 students. There is a faculty mentor assigned for every 10 students who are really helpful and supportive.

ABOUT PDPU

Likes

Campus is large and green. In campus 3 big grounds.
At our college around 80% students get their jobs
Flair event and tesseract event is my favorites events.

Dislikes

College fee is soo high compared with other good university.
Minimum 80% attendance requirement is not have been
Course structure is as per industry but not detailed as required

The placement of PDPU is good. From the 7th semester, the student becomes eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited the campus for campus placement some of them are Amazon, Google, Goldman Sachs, jio, TCS, Infosys, cognizant, L&T, Adani, grow, etc. For CS highest package is 25 lakh and avg. The package is 7.58 lakh. For ICT highest package is 25 lakh and avg. The package is 6.09 lakh. The percentage of students getting placement is 80%. My plan after graduation is to start a business.

The course curriculum is what I liks the most, as it includes mix of core courses, electives, practical applications, industry internships and research projects to ensure holistic learning experience
The faculty members are expected to have a strong academic background and industry exposure, which enables them to deliver high-quality education and guide students effectively.

Dislikes

The academic fees is very high compared to the other universities/colleges.
While university strive to create positive campus environment, some of us may have concerns about aspects such as cleanliness, maintenance, or the availabilty of amenities.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited the campus for campus placements some of them are Google amazon etc. The median package offered for ICT and CS students was 6.09 lacs whereas the highest package was grabbed by an ICT student was 25 lacs in AMAZON.

A Comprehensive Review on Pandit Deendayal Energy University

Likes

The canteens are very nice, there is a mess and a separate canteen which are spacious and can accommodate many students
The campus life is very good, sports like basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, tennis all has separate courts and ground with all the equipments.
The faculties are also nice and are cooperative and help in research projects

Dislikes

The travelling time from ahmedabad to gandhinagar daily
As the campus is big we need to walk a lot.
The wifi speed is an issue but you get the connection throughout the campus.

The students become eligible for placement after they complete the 6th semester out of the 8 semesters. Companies like Amazon, Google, Jio, Reliance, Groww, TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit every year and give offers to students. The highest package offered is 36LPA and the lowest package offered is 2.4LPA and different roles are offered to the students as per their domain, like software developer, data analyst, software engineer, and full stack developer. More than 80% of students are placed who opt for placements from college. My plan after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies abroad.

Everything About PDPE

Likes

The luxury of the university in every department including extracurricular activities and when everyone completes their graduation Mukesh Ambani Himself honors us.
Many celebrities visits here every month to provide concerts for students
Placement was really impressive comparing to others as almost everyone who wants job got here so that's really great.

Dislikes

Faculty could be better here. University fees are expensive so we expect better faculties but it's lacking here and it's my personal opinion.
Exams are really frustrating here as it doesn't give freedom to enjoy little bit
Assignments and other projects consumes most of the time of students so that's what I didn't like there

Placement Experience:

From 6 to 8th-semester students are eligible for campus placements and by campus placement offered this is one of the best universities in India. Many companies visit there such as ONGC, RELIANCE, NTPC, POWER GRID, LARSEN TURBO, etc. Many peoples came here from Wealthy backgrounds so they opt out of campus placement the ratio is around 60% of students who got jobs so that's really excellent comparing others. My plan after getting my degree is to build a construction business of my own after some time working with the family business so I think this institute gave me a lot of information regarding my career.

Faculty, placement is good

Likes

Good infrastructure and study atmosphere.
Good sports facilities and gym training.
Good facilities and good coordinators to look after students

Dislikes

Fees is little high. Generally good private colleges have 2 lac fees. This have 40k more.
Culture is little hi-fi as other branches and commerce people come with low merit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are very easy to pass. Exams are taken timely. The course curriculum is good and to the point. Faculty members are good. CS is booming so it's an obvious choice. All professors are PhD. Teaching is good.

THE GOODS AND BADS OF PDEU

The campus is very good
The placement ratio is also very good
The university also provides funding to the students

Dislikes

The attendance rule is 80% and the university is very strict regarding to the attendance rule.
The timing of college is very unfit for the students who want to explore the other fields and develop their co-curriculum.

Placement Experience:

The placement ratio is very good in the college, the MNCs like GOOGLE and AMAZON visit the campus for recruitment. The highest package provided in the computer engineering branch was 25 LPA and the average package provided was around 7 LPA. Almost everybody gets the placement who opts for it. My plan is to get the placement after getting the degree.

One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.

They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
The campus has 3 libraries.
Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
The whole campus is wifi enabled.
They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.

PDPU Gandhinagar offers a great campus life. The campus life is also vibrant. They host lots of activities in various areas like coding, gaming, debating, etc. Also, lots of workshops are there for different streams. PDPU Gandhinagar has yearly cultural and technical fests known as ‘Flare’ & ‘Tesseract’ respectively. Overall PDPU is good and also has a strong alumni network.
