There is no hike in the tution fees per year 2,40,000 yes there are many government scholarships college also gives scholarahips yes college provides campus placements internships and much more help for projects
Technical and social fests are really interested and very good .all the clubs work so hard to encourage the students .
Hostel rooms are 2 sharing and have all necessary things like aur conditioners,bed, mattress, study table etc.rooms are clean and comfortable too.

Dislikes

The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.
Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students
Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me

PDEU Review

Likes

College Environment is Really awesome which leads to stay there whole day
Little Bit of Peer Pressure is being hence making to us to fight more
Extra Curriculum Activities makes our good communication skills

Dislikes

Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me
Mess becomes full due to overcrowded during lunch
For Events Participation, they don't allow us attendance.

Placement Experience:

After 3 year Complete we are eligible for campus placements. Google,Amazan,JP Morgans have offered 38 lakhs per annum to 2 students. Hence highest Package - 38 lakhs, Avg. Package - 7-9 lakhs. around 80-90% students were placed.My Plans after B.tech is Job.

MY COLLEGE LIFE IN PDEU

Likes

The college has a very good environament
The college labs and classrooms are well equiped
The college faculty is very good,experienced and supportive

Dislikes

The college hostel is not too good. It is just average.
The college mess food is not good. It is just edible.
The college does not have proper sports equipment

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 3rd year. Various multinational companies visit the campus including Reliance, Shell, Heisenberg, Microsoft, Apple, HP, Hindustan Petroleum, and ONGC. For petroleum engineering, the highest package was 22 lakh provided by ONGC and 5 lakh was the average package. Almost 95-96% of students got placed. My plans after getting a degree are that I would be first complete my masters, then would do job,gain some experience my working in corporate world and then join my family business which is also of petroleum industry.

General Review of Mechanical Engineering at PDEU

Likes

Many extracurricular activities opportunity available for students
Good infrastructure along with certain good faculties
Supportive environment towards innovative projects

Dislikes

High fees compared to many great institutes across India
High attendance rule , leaving less time for extracurricular
Quite difficult to obtain funding for any deserved project.

Placement Experience:

Many companies such as reliance , automobile companies , adani, Halliburton , McKinsey , micron come for placement at PDEU. The packages made are quite variable with average ranging close to 6-7 lakh Rs. And highest close to 12LPA for the mechanical department. Many students chose to go to further education for courses such as MBA etc.

PDPU-pandit deendayal enegy university

Likes

PDPU in a Big campuse and clean rooms and washroom are very clean.
Canteen food i like it , test is good quality medium.
Exam time anytime faculty help the student

Dislikes

Collage fees are very high and poor student not teaching in this collage.
Many faculty nature are rude, not a good for student.
Bus not provide to student for Pg and hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty very Strick, student are very rich , and good personalty, faculty are a study material provided and all days lecture clg time is 2 to 6, and teaching fully english not speak in Hindi in lecture. Exam very difficult.

The course curriculum best suits me as it opens a wide variety of options for the student to explore different subjects and then decide what further to pursue. The faculty staff are also very cooperative and encouraging.

My Experience At PDEU (Pandit deendayal energy university)

The campus is great about a 100 acres which is great to see. The view is great. Everything is performed systematically leading to efficient working.
The labs are great every equipment is well stationed, you get to work practically on many topics as well.
The campus placement is the best thing as you know about 80% of the students get campus placement here.

Placement Experience:

the campus placement process takes place during the pre-final exam of your last semester, where you need to register with the T&P cell. The students who want to apply for specific companies will have to fill out that form as well but if some misunderstandings occur they can freely approach the T&P cell. Many companies have approached the PDEU campus," including AMAZON, MAHINDRA& MAHINDRA, GROWW, JIO, L'OREAL, ADITYA BIRCLA CAP. etc". The average package is Rs.6,50,000 per annum. The highest was of Rs.38,00,000 package to a CSE branched. More than 100 companies were in this placement seminar. there is a high percentage for you to get a placement here, nearly 80% of students get placements here. My plans after getting a degree is to get a good job and then live my life exploring places where I have never been.

Occasional administrative delays in processes. Limited recreational facilities. Inadequate industry exposure during the course
Some overcrowded classrooms affected interactive learning experience.
Inconsistent availability of certain resources impacted research projects at times.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from 6th semester. Prominent companies like ABC Corp, and Reliance Ltd visited, offering diverse roles. Highest package: 12 LPA, average: 6 LPA. 85% students placed. I plan to explore internships to gain practical experience and pursue post-grad studies to specialize further.

The best place for your journey

Likes

The campus life or collage it's great weather.
The library system are awesome within a minute i can find books.
Faculty are also good mindset so we can approach him any time.

Dislikes

The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies that are coming into placement activities multinational national in petroleum branch average package is 8 lakh and the company name is ongc shell ExxonMobil etc the placement activities start in 6th sem. The majority of students get placed in good company.

My experience at PDEU

Likes

They have great research facilities for students.
Always encourage students to balance the college lufe between study and extra curriculur activities
We are having a great department with great faculty

Dislikes

Sometimes, the schedule is very tight for student, having 9-6 class
It is located outside the city, so we have to reach station, it going to be adventure.
Sometimes higher authority don't listen to students.

Students after the seventh semester are eligible for campus placements. In our chemical department, we have so far an 80% ratio of students who got admission through campus placements. Companies like Reliance, Asian Paints, IOCL, etc. are collaborating with PDEU for placements.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are decent for Petroleum Engineering especially as they offer around 60/70% placement ratio which offer's around an average package of 7 LPA. Major companies which came for placements are ONGC, Oil India, Reliance Industries Limited, Torrent Gas, Shell, L&T, etc.

One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.

They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
The campus has 3 libraries.
Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
The whole campus is wifi enabled.
They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.

PDPU Gandhinagar offers a great campus life. The campus life is also vibrant. They host lots of activities in various areas like coding, gaming, debating, etc. Also, lots of workshops are there for different streams. PDPU Gandhinagar has yearly cultural and technical fests known as ‘Flare’ & ‘Tesseract’ respectively. Overall PDPU is good and also has a strong alumni network.
