Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

Not kurukshetra complete review!

Likes

Campus life: there's a lot to do here if you're willing to explore!
Friends: Even though it's hard to make friends if you're from South India, once you find a good friend group, it's for life!
Library: there's a ton of books if you're a bookworm!

Dislikes

Food: very bad and dry food without much variety.
Hostel: very bad rooms and it's not spacious.
Teachers: they don't know how to teach. They're not meant for it.

Placement Experience:

This year placements have been really bad to be honest. IT (information technology) got 40% placed on campus. CSE (computer science and engineering) got 30% placed and ECE (electronics and communication engineering) got 23% placed and these are considered the top branches!

NIT KKR Review

Likes

Sports Facility Good and also greenery in all area.
Library is big having more than 100000 books.
Classrooms are having ACs. And good level of hardworking friends.

Dislikes

Teachers Quality Poor. Max thing u have to study urself.
Companies are not coming more and also decline in placement is seen
Connectivity between college and city is not there.

Campus Life is very exciting and adventurous
Infrastructure of the whole campus is great

There one thing I not liked about the college is affording the admission is not very good

Placement Experience:

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra has released the placement statistics for the academic year 2022-23. As per NIT Kurukshetra placement 2022-23, the highest package stood at INR 62.5 LPA. The average package at NIT Kurukshetra remains at INR 14.16 LPA. The institute has a separate dedicated placement cell that offers multiple job opportunities in various multinational companies. Top recruiters that participate in the NIT Kurukshetra placement 2023 session are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and others. NIT Kurukshetra median package for the B.Tech program stood at INR INR 11.07 LPA. The placement statistics differ for each course offered by the institute. As per NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech placement 2023, a total of 662 students got placed amounting to a placement percentage of 75.74%. My plans after getting the degree is to be placed as soon as possible with a good package.

NIT Kurukshetra : An underated institute

Likes

College campus which is fully lush green with beautiful trees
The events and activities which happens in the college
The facilities which are available in the hostel

Dislikes

The quality of the food can be improved more
The lectures rooms are also not in good condition.
There are only limited shops in the market complex.

Placement Experience:

The placement ratio of this institute is very good as compared to other engineering institutes. After 5th / 6th semester person with good skills can get an internship very easily which helps to get the job more effectively but if someone didn't get the placement from the college placement cell but he can also get the job from outside without much efforts.

All you need to know about NIT KKR (Kurukshetra)

Likes

I liked the kind of exposure that we get here and the the tech facilities that are provided
I also like that here there is absolutely no ragging and students can roam freely even at start of college
Also the placement opportunities are very good here as avg placement is above 15lpa for college

Dislikes

the hostel food is not upto the mark as sometimes there have been cases in which flies have been in food
the hostel rooms are also too small and the cleanliness is not taken care of properly
Also the professors are not very amiable and they tend to make remarks on students and judge them.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements for 7th sem and companies start to come at that time only th e palcement is very good the avg pacakage for CSe is 21lpa and that for IT and ECE is 20 lpa and 17 lpa respectively and almost all students are placed and if not they either pursue their higher studies or prepare for competitive exams.

NIT Kurukshetra: A brief overview

Likes

The campus is very beautiful. Greenery all around
There are many eating spots all around the college
The course curriculum is great and academics are not hectic

Dislikes

Some buildings are very old so they don't appeal that much
It's located in the outskirts of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant to the advancements in the IT and computer industry and can make you industry ready if you really do well. Many types of programming languages like C, Java, Python which are used heavily in the real world are taught and many more computer science topics like operating systems, computer networks are also taught.

NIT in the city of gods - NIT kurukshetra

Likes

the beautiful and lush green campus spread over a wide area . the campus has a lake of its own .
various sports opportunities and world class facilities to train and practice.
various clubs and socities to explore different domains.

Dislikes

the hostel rooms are quite a bit shrinked and one can face difficulties in adjusting.
the food quality of mess food is also not very good.
poor locality and no city life as kurukshetra is a small town and doesnt contain much of the facilities.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent and the students from 7 semester becomes eligible for campus placements. The major companies visited are microsoft , google , samsung , adobe etc. more than 150 companies visited nit kurukshetra this year . number of eligible students were 1368 in various courses which includes b.tech , m.tech MCA and MBA . More than 1000 placement offers were made and average package was 14.12 lakhs and highest package was 65 lakhs per annum.

NIT KKR another side

Likes

Campus night life for boys, fests in the collage
Campus area and overall infrastructure of collage
Professors and supportive batchmates and supportive environment

Dislikes

Mess food is very poor in hostel 10 difficult to eat
No option of food for late time craving as there is no shop or store open at night
Collage academic pressure as many suicide occurred due to this

Placement Experience:

7th sem company started to come. Our college do provide place with avg package of 10-12 lakhs but due to recession it has major impact on placements, many seniors do not get placement or just got package or 6-8 lakhs which is quite low

The faculty support is commendable here and this institute has an abundant alumni network
The new syllabus is good, which ensures full concentration towards internship during the sixth semester and students do not get pressurised by unnecessary exams
