Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

Overall review of NIT Kurukshetra

Likes

College Environment- the environment of the college is full of greenery and beautiful buildings.
Students- the seniors are quite supporting and the classmates are helpful.
Culture- the students are open minded and supports new activities.

Dislikes

Placement- the placement is decreasing in current years.
Academic life- the academic life is quite hectic.
Course- the course ia quite old and not helpful in current scenario.but this scenario is changing slowly.

Placement Experience:

In starting of seventh semester, student is eligible for campus placements. There are several companies that visited the campus including google, Amazon, Facebook, etc. The highest package is 1.25 crores and average package is 14.15 lacs. There is 98% placement in cse and 50% placement in civil department. There is decrease in placement as compared to previous year due to recession and lack of skill in students.

i have given this review with bottom of my heart which i feel about my college thanks .

Likes

enviorment of college is very good and natural
there is many things to do in college like social clubs
we have good facallities in college for transportation

Dislikes

faculty and staff is not good they are so rude
students do too much nasha in college which is not good
there is too much time delay in semster result they provide late

Placement Experience:

from the 7th semester, we are eligible for placements winzo, Microsoft , 1.4cr is the highest package offered by Google and the lowest is 5 lacs by tcs. 99% of students get placement to make money after degree

There is placement opportunities . In this MBA programme students are eligible for placement from the 2 year ,, 3rd semester . Most of the students are placed from the campus . There is average package is 8lpa.

Atmosphere, campus life, hostel life, monsoon
Highly educated teachers, good knowledge about the field
Department wise collaboration, each department have own whistle blowing policy

Dislikes

Fighting in the campus, less chance of sports
Less or low quality food in the canteen or or other area
The nature of students is good but there are many chance of less participative

Placement Experience:

The student are eligible in 3 rd semester to sit in placment drive with no backlog or re in exams. Ther many companies like crowe, cinletics, Idbi , hdfc, namo ,kotak, federal bank, etc Highest package is given by federal bank. Upto 13 lpa and average package is around 7.5lpa. 80% placement in last year. Going for placement if not get so going for startup.

Campus is the first thing I liked , a wide spread campus to explore is a big YES
The overall infrastructure of our college is also good
The culture what our college brings is also exceptional

Dislikes

Less exposure to the other streams like MBA , MCA etc .
Hectic class schedule specially for mba students
Since mba is a professional course they should focus more upon practical learning than bookish knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Our college does offers a campus placement and it is good in terms of ROI , you pay 3-3.5 lakhs for your complete MBA and you get 8 lpa or above salary on an average so it is quite decent if you consider ROI . However, yes we don't claim 100% placement. But from a batch of 40 students I would 20-25 gets easily placed from campus . Others might have to go for off campus opportunities.

My overwhelming two years experience at NIT.

Likes

The thing I like the most is the college campus it is full of greenery and full of life.
Also the faculty members in this college are extremely qualified they all are associate professors and all the above ranks

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike is the food offered in the hostels they should focus on increasing the quality of the food in the hostels

Placement Experience:

Placements offer in my college is quite decent but it totally depends on the placement committee coordinator which the student will choose from the class only so he or she will be the representative of the placements which will happen for them only. Highest package offer in my college was around 13.5 lakhs and the average was around eight lpa.

Infrastructure of our college and decent
Return on investment was the best part of nit kurukshetra
Hostel was decent and with low budget provided

Dislikes

Offline forms was there due to that we were faced issues

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college is quite good, there are some companies which comes every year for requirement, like IDBI, Federal, Crowe, Cyntex, HDFC etc. IDBI came with more than 6 lakh package every year, Federal every year increase there packages last year it comes with 13 lakh package.

First I like the ROI of this college, which is almost 200 percent.
Second I like the facility which they provide, like campus which is so beautiful and large.
I like the placement cell , which is very helpful and try more for the students.

Dislikes

I only dislike the process of addmission form filling, they have to going online in this era, because of this many students nit able to get how to fill the form

Likes

The friends you make in college is best things . Here you get good peer group.
Infrastructure of our college is quite good.
Placements and seniors-junior interaction is good enough.

Dislikes

Hostel and mess buildings could be much better.
Location is quite interior of town and far from main town.
internship could be much better as it know.

PLacementsd are good and major big companies visit our college and the percentage placed of electrical is 86.7% last year and highest package is 44lpa and median was 12lpa for electrical domain.Many of core students give GATE examination for goverment jobs or for doing M.Tech.

Likes

Campus, People, Clubs and exposure to the outside world.
Placements are better, but should be increased
Alot happens every day, it's not like everyone is dull.

Dislikes

The food is not that good in some hostels.
Some Professors are rude and done care about students
Intime and other restrictions in the college

Placements are going well. Internship opportunities are also available. Students get hired from the 5th semester(for internship) Names of companies visited: Google, 1 offer Microsoft, 17 offers, Amazon, 18 offers Goldman Sachs, 2 offeres percentage of students getting palaced depends on the branch, for CS it is 80%(Refer the college website for exact numbers and for other branches) I plan on joining a product-based company and working my way into that.

Life at NIT Kurukshetra

You will have an amazing campus life here, and You can capture memories from this institute. Various programs are conducted and have many clubs, crews, magazine festivals, societies, etc.
You can make a lot of friends but make sure to choose wisely for your well-being
The hush-green campus is incredible, giving off a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
