Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

Overall a decent college

Likes

Mess Food is great here, and the quality of food is great
Campus Life is good, but not that great.
Overall Infrastructure is decent and fest are good too

Dislikes

Being far from city is a thing i disliked.
For outing, and eating street food, etc, you may have to travel at least 3-4 km.
College is very far away from city and autos charge you a lot

Placement Experience:

As this is a reputed NIT, placements tend to be good Every year. Last year, the average placement for CS & IT was 22 Lpa approx(it is ctc) and median was approx 18 for CS & IT. The data is for the 2023 batch.

Personal Experience of NIT Kurukshetra

Likes

Campus Life is really good. Campus is large enough as well
Peer group is of very smart individuals.
Placements are decent so don't have to worry much

Dislikes

Faculty is strictly in taking actions. Give less marks
75% attendance is mandatory and it really is an effort in hot summers
Not much big of a market there is. Few Shops but needy is available

Placement Experience:

Placement are quite good. But due to recession, it's on a fall. Otherwise students get placed as high as 1.5cr and the lowest is around 7-8 lpa but not less than that. Every big company comes to this college

College life , placements , canteens , lake
trees , surroundings, nature , market in the college

mess food , hostel rooms , some teachers rudeness
girls to boys ratio , fights in the college
outsiders can come in our college without any permission

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in our college. Average package of cse branch was approximate 20 lakhs previous year , and that is really a good amount of money. Internships are also provided by our college and we get stipends close to 50 thousands per month .

Campus is beautiful. There could be more spots to eat

Likes

campus is very green and there are nice places to walk
there is a lake where one can sit and enjoy the calm
classrooms are not far from the hostel so

Dislikes

there are no good eating places inside the college
the college doesn't have any ac in hostel rooms
girls aren't allowed to go out at the night

Course Curriculum Overview:

i wanted computer science but my rank wasn't enough and this was the second best course. the student to faculty ratio is good. faculty is qualified but some are very strict. exams were 2 times in an year and passing is easy if you study regularly.

I like campus. Campus is beautiful and full of greenery

Dislikes

I don't like hostel food and in over campus no shop gol gappe.

Placement Experience:

Our college provide campus placement..It is good for some branch like CS ,it but those students who want to placement in coding domain and belong to branches pi and civil face some problems. Percentage of students palcaced is good.

NIT KURUKSHETRA Review

Likes

The things I liked about my college is it's location is very good. It's near to both Delhi and Chandigarh.
The infrastructure and the facilities provided are very good. Good sports ground and equipments.
The placement stats are very good. Almost everyone got placed and the average package is 19.1 LPA.

Dislikes

The administration is not good. Sometimes fee submission process takes too long.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements form the 7th semester. An on campus drive starts in the month on August for the final year students where they can apply and have to go through different hiring process. A lot of companies visited the campus and the average package for computer science was 19.1 LPA. In CS/IT, 100% of the students got placed.

Likes

Campus life is very enjoyful and there is a lot of fun in the college life.
infrastructure of college is great and building of college is well constructed.
there is very good availability of all types of sports facilities like cricket, badminton, table tennis, swimming, kabaddi, chess, etc.

Dislikes

Hostel mess food is not so good and the charges are considerably high.
Professors are not teaching properly and completly. Also they send phds scholars to teach us.
College time table and schedule is very hectic.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There a lot of companies visited like TCS, infosys, tech mahindra, HCL, adobe, american express and many more. Also no of offers were between 900 to 1000. Highest package is 75 lpa and average package is 15 lpa. 90% of students are getting placements. My plan is to get placement as software engineer.

Hostel rooms are too good , attached balcony

Washrooms are not separate for each rooms
Cheating in exams which makes the students not to study
In time of girls only but boys have no in time

After 6th semester , students are capable of campus placement.Many reputed companies come to the college for campus placement like MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, HERO , etc. After getting the degree , first of all , I'll go for campus placement only .After 3 to 4 years of placement ,I will decide for anything else if required.
