Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

NIT Kurukshetra College Review

Likes

College Greenery is very good. This makes us feel fresh.
Infrastructure is quite good. There is everything necessary is available in the campus.
Sports facilities are good. There is separate swimming pool and badminton court also.

Dislikes

Buildings are old . There should be new buildings to be build.
Wifi connectivity is very bad here . There is no network for some of the mobile Sim
There is no auditorium at all here . There should be one which can accommodate all the students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for Campus placement in the last year. Also, most every big company visits our college like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. The highest Package of college is around 1 crore or more and the average package is 16 lakh. Around 90% of students got placed in campus placement.

Likes

Campus Life is excellent in the college.you can explore any thing in college.
Opportunities in the college are very high. Which lead to improve knowledge.
Teachers are very helpful and supportive in each and every aspect of life

Dislikes

Food in the hostels for a South Indian like me is bad .

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Electronics and Communication Engineering which is known to be one of the toughest branches in engineering. I am interested in Integrated chip design so I opted for this course. You will be teched by a single faculty of 80 members. There is a doubt-solving session in which teachers solve doubts of 18 members per session. Faculty here are Ph.D. scholars in renowned universities and have relevant skills. There are 2 mid sems and an end sem. In mid-exams, you may get tough questions that you may not solve just to learn after the exam. But in the end, at least 2 questions are solvable.

Classrooms are good with AC and better space
Campus has good security and rules for discipline
Hostels Are decent and maintained upto the mark

Dislikes

Mess food is very disappointing. We can't even eat
There are no frequent fests or events occurred in campus
Clubs and technical societies are not upto the mark

Placement Experience:

This year placements were a little decreased but good. Companies like Microsoft visit campus. In the CS and IT branches placements were high. Other core branches also had a very good number of placements. Placements were good.

Dislikes

Faculty here are somewhat rude and less caring towards students

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester college students become eligible for placements. Google, Microsoft, PSUs(BEL, IOCL etc.) and many more. The highest package here goes to 45-50 lpa and the goes to 14 lpa. 70-80 per cent of students get placed here. I'm planning to take gate exam and get a job at a psu

There is nothing that I dislike about my college personally.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty are great in nit kurukshetra, they all are PHD qualified and have great experience in their teaching field. I have choosed mechanical engineering because I have intrest in that and I want to explore this field and contribute to my country.

College life is good

Likes

I liked the professor of this college. They are very polite.
I like the sport facilities that are provided by college. I like to play volleyball and cricket.
Campus is very Green. There are many shops outside the nit.

Dislikes

The room are very small. But it is ok for one student.
No student can go outside college after 8:30 pm.
That are things i dont like about the college.

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting the campus bcz it is not far from Delhi. Microsoft, Mahindra, Suzuki, and Intel are famous companies that visit the campus. 80 to 90 percent of students get placed in every branch. The highest package of the mechanical branch is 35 lakh and the average is 10 lakh.

Campus Life is amazing.The extra curricular activities are tremendous and are being timely organised
Library is well equipped with ACs,wifi and books fictional as well as non fictional
Hostels are very good with proper sports facilities like volleyball, badminton courts

Dislikes

The size of classrooms is comparatively small and sometimes AC of LHC does not work properly.
Examinations are hectic as mid sem. Of two subjects Are organised on the same day
NiT market is small with all basic facilities.The laptop shops are outside NiT

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements in NIT are decent. Most of The top-notch MNCs like Microsoft, Adobe, Cisco, etc. visit during placement sessions. Apart from the SDE role Other core companies and PSUs like BPCL, and BEL also visit the campus regularly. Placements and Internships opportunities are Top Notches in NIT K.

Campus environment is very good with lush of greenary and grounds, swimming pool, open air theatre etc

Min 75 percent attendance criteria of the college

Placement in the final year. Many companies like L&T, E litmus, Microsoft, etc. came for placement drives. The highest placement was 50 lac last year in Software development. Around 90% of students who participated in the drive were placed in one company or another. I am preparing for a competitive exam.

The nitian life

Likes

The campus of our nit is the best and there’s alot if greenaty.
The sports complex is the best accordingly.
Infinity corridor is a head turner at nights.

Dislikes

The lack of security in the campus life is a concern.
The in time for girls is 8:30pm after that they can’t come out.
Cars are not allowed in the campus due to poor safety.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is up to the mark they are very well most of the companies come every year and choose students from our college companies like Microsoft, and Google also came to our college for placement.

College is very good campus life is amazing .
Faculties are very supportive and helpful regarding any doubt related to courier.

Dislikes

Mess food is not as good as i think . Late night timing is too early only 8:30 pm.

Placement Experience:

Many companies visit our college such as Microsoft, Infosys, and Samsung. Provide PPO to students doing internships in their company. Last year there was 80 percent placement from our college. Rest students try for off-campus placement.
