NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The curriculum is good as the faculty is also supportive so, they help the student in academics as well as in placements as a mentor. Curriculum prepare for the real world applications as teachers focus on that things that are used in real world.

Since 2024 was the first batch of physics department to get placed so it was a good start i would say with the average package of 6-7Lakh per annum, most of the students got placed, tech companies and research based companies visited campus

Students after 2nd year can apply/appear for summer internship or along with winter intern programs thereby making their resume good . Placement are started when a student enters the 4th year in btech and companies start visiting the campus. They offer good packages highest was 2 crore off campus 1.73 cr on campus And min was 8 lpa

Students become eligible for the placements from 7th sem, start of final year. for my year 2023, companies like carrier, byjus, axtria, microchip, bny melon, salesforce visited and 95% of the student were placed. Highest package reached to 25 lpa i suppose, and minimum went to 3.5lpa. My plans after getting a degree, is to work in my interested fields, have a good work experince, and after that might opt or the MBA

Placement in our used to be good but now average package is something between 6to 7 lakh. Generally students can apply for in their final year . Students must have 7.5 cgpa to sit in placements .During NIT Hamirpur Placement 2023, top companies like CRED, Stryker Corporation, Philips, etc. visited the campus for recruitment purposes.Highest package was of INR 173 LPA while the average package stood at INR 7.54 LPA. a total of 690 students were placed out of 952 students . I am going mtech after btech with a better college after clearly gate.

Placements are not that much good as compared to other nits. Computer Science and Engineering(CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE) have good placements compared to other core branches.

NIT Hamirpur have a very good Placement cell and they are focused and working closely with every students and assisting them during campus placement sesion and we have a decent number of placement every session.

The college provides decent placement and the average packages of 7 lac per annum , you should be having around 6.5 cgpa for sitting in core placement and around 8 is good for applying in IT companies

After 6th semester company stars hiring students the eligibilty is set by the respective companies applying companies recruting are many like reliance, cread,unacademy, stryker corporation etc package varies as per branch overall it is 13 lakh for chemical it is 10 to 11 lakh per annum although it exceeds to 24 lakhs and for cse to 52 lakh About 80 % students get palced depending upon branch for cse it is 96%

Placement.is good for the computer science and electronics engineering student but the other students who are in core branch they can't get satisfied package and if you don't get college placement you can't get offline placement
