Overall the faculty at nit srinagar is good they provide us with good study material and they have average speaking skills we can understand their lectures easily jsnsnjdjdhdhshshhsjsjshhshshshshshshhshshshshhshshshshshshhshshdh
It has a beautiful campus and the best facilities the library has a huge amount of books and has free wifi speed like 100mbps.
In nit srinagar campus placement is very good many companies visit and they offer good packages highest packages in our college is 40-50 lpa that is good and many companis like tata hcl visits out college

Dislikes

Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6lpa!
Rapid development must has to present here which feels bad about this college.
There are no oncampus internships you have to find one your own and let college know about it.they put restrictions on everything and no proper leave is given for the internship facilities mentor you correctly and guide you

Nice college

Likes

Campus is very beautiful.There are mountains around college which gives very pleasant vibes
The classrooms have very facilitities like smartboards, ac, heater etc
The infrastructure is very modern You will get every equipment here

Dislikes

The road connectivity of this city to othet cities is very difficulty especially by road
The hostel life is very congested as there are 5 students in one room
The academic curriculum is very hectic in this college

Placements are decent in our college. Almost 80% of students from cse it ever gets placed and is also good in core branches. The highest package of Cse I think is 50 lakh and the average is around 8-9.

I like this college because it has a very beautiful sing. A
Facilities provided in our college are welcome
The teacher in this college are very intelligent and there will educated. They treat us like a watch on Chey.

There are not many so many canteens in our college, which is your drawback
There is a lot of button on the students due to the studies
The area of our college is very small and

After the fifth semester, the students in our college are eligible for the placement. The companies visited in our college or many companies which is our college Infosys Google, Microsoft and et cetera percentage of a student getting placement. You have colleges around 75 percent.

I like the teaching style of teachers and the curriculum of the college
I like the social club and the activities in the college
I like the placement cell which helps students to get placements and encourages companies to come in college

Dislikes

I don’t like the classroom benches as they are very uncomfortable
I don’t like the food quality of this institute
Also, don’t like there is a little bit discrimination in other students and Kashmir guys

No, because after Corona, there are many industrial in IT industries and the college has many companies The highest package is 42,00,00 and others are 12 to 14 for CS, IT and 8 to 6 for core branches.

Advantages and disadvantage of taking admission in NIT

Likes

Good infrastructure in Civil engineering department.
Good food to students in mess and good menu of mess.
Good natural beauty is there and nice weather.

Dislikes

Security system is not very good it should be implemented.
Lot of fight among students and lack of understanding between students.
Hostel is not well in infrastructure and facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become a good civil engineer in the country. The faculty and student ratio are 1:40. All the faculties are highly qualified and Ph.D. holders. After every two months and it's tough to pass the exam. The exam is very analytical.

I am currently pursuing my batch degree from nit Srinagar in the electrical engineering branch; The faculty are nice some of them are rude but overall nice college and faculty members; 1st year will be difficult for you because here 2 months for winter break

Weather of this college and faculty, classroom and environment of this college which make studying better to students
Sports facility are very good which make students skill better.
Summer weather which make comfortable to environment

Dislikes

Winter vacation more then needed. i think it will reduce
In summer there is no vacation which make bored
Security, some time students feel little bit uncomfortable when they go outside

In our college placement facilities are very good and when students come in the 7th semester they are eligible for placements here IT students get 100% placements and other branches get above then 85% which makes placement overall good.

Well and worth it

Likes

College campus is very beautiful and clean.
Infrastructure is very good and well structured.
Faculties are good. They help each and every student.

Dislikes

Wifi facility, wifi in our hostel does not work properly in 1st year hostel.
Laboratory exam, Viva and other exam happens before end term.
Classrooms are held at Civil attic which I hate the most.

Placement Experience:

The placement of NIT SRINAGAR is also good. placement of CSE/IT is about 100%. The highest placement from NIT Srinagar is 36.5lpa(De Shaw) in 2023. The placement of other departments ECE/MECH/CIV is also awesome. generally other branch students prepare for Gate and other competitive exams and they perform very well.

Poor connectivity of college from other local towns
Not having winter vacation depend on the conditions
Not having good infrastructure but they are improving

Placement Experience:

After 6 semesters students are eligible for placements. ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, Mahindra, Tata and Tata, GAL. The highest placement of 2022 is about 44 lakhs per annum from CSE Department. 71% of students placed every year.

Likes

The scenery is amazing and teachers are super knowledgeable
The security and staff help is good and.
Overall the facilities are good and help people.

Dislikes

Food quality is not upto standards and requires improvement
Ragging is strictly taken care of still some people get through
Teachers do not help you with extra curricular activities at all.

Placement Experience:

The fourth semester is ideally the time internships are provided. Packages reach a height of 52lpa but the overall average is around 13-15 lpa. Around 80% of the total student population gets a placement. Well excluding the population of students who leave the college it dropout.
