NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th sem, students are eligible for placements. Finisar, IBM, ABB, Polarises, Indian Oil, NTPC, BYJUS, ETC. In the 2023 BATCH, the highest is 36 LPA for a CSE graduate and the average is 12 LPA (my assumption after seeing the list). At least 75% get placements. My plan after my degree is to get a placement

Placements are quite good, from circuital branches most of the students get multiple offers and from non-circuital branches also placement is around 90%. Companies start visiting at the end of the 6th semester. This year more than 250 companies visited the campus with more than 1250 offers. The package is 36.5 lpa and the average is around 8 lpa. Different companies offer different profiles like SDE, BA, Analyst, GET, ELT, MT etc. More than 90% of students get placed here. I'm also placed and will work there.

Our college placements are very good Especially for CS, IT and ECE The highest package for our college is 46 LPA in CS branch The average package for CS, IT is 12 LPA Other branch placements are decent Many PSUs come for placements and give 22 LPA Google, Samsung, Infosys, Microsoft, Optum, Power Grid, ONGC, GAIL, BHEL, NTPC, Vedanta, L and T, TATA, Goldman sacs, Amazon, etc

Placements are really good as it is NIT. Around 85 percent of all branches are getting placements with average package of 6.5 Lacs and highest package of 27 LPA. Even i am placed in 2 companies. All big MNCs and all core companies visit our campus like Vedanta, tata, juspay, Oracle, optum, and many more.

The placement records of our college have seen a significant improvement over a few years with the institution recording all-time high placement records in the 2023 year. The student started getting placement offers in the 6th semester. The average package is 12LPA, the highest package is 40LPA and the Lowest package is 6LPA.

Placement is good in our college compared to other NITs we get in these ranks. CSE & IT is considered best here then ECE is also good. You can go for lower branches also, placement does happen in every branch. Our average placement is 13lpa. Every year nearly early 80% of students got placed in this college.

Placements are offered in the college after the 6th semester. Students who are willing to get a placement can apply after 6th semester in the placement cell of the college. There are different companies like HCL, Samsung, Infosys etc. From last year's placement data, the highest package was 25 lakh and the average package for the IT department was 11.5 lakh. Almost 80% of students who applied got their placements. I also have plans to get my placement on campus and get a good package.

Students become eligible for Campus placement after 6 semesters and various companies do visit a college campus. The highest package in 2021 was Rs 42 lakhs by Microsoft. The percentage varies from course to course. Highest being CSE which in 2021 was almost 90 percent.
