If you want placement then you have to maintain a good CGPA. In IIT above 8 is enough to get a good job. Because the paper was so tough. I am a first-year student. So still I didn't get any offers. The highest package is 60 lakhs and the average package is 24 lakhs. 95% of people will get a good job. I don't think about the future. I have to complete my work on time. But I have to fulfil my dreams. So, I have to work my myself and for my dream.

I don't have a good idea about the placement process and all since I belong to the first year and the average package of my branch is 22 LPA and almost I think 90% of the people get placed. I'm thinking of doing an MBA or MTech.

Electrical engineering being a circuital branch has a wide range of possibilities ahead. It can also be considered as evergreen branch whose demand is atleast not going to end soon. Faculty here are PhD professionals but some might not like the teaching methodologies as it is quite different from the regular schooling/coaching methodologies. Term exams are strictly followed and on basis of regular intervals to check learning process. It is pretty easy to pass the exams if someone only pays attention in class or refer to notes by professors.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements and from the 3rd semester, students become eligible for interns. Companies like JSW, TATA, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, ONGC, Samsung, Cairn, American Express and so on visit the campus and almost every company offers jobs to the students. The highest packages go up to 62Lpa and average packages of 17-28 lpa. 85-90 per cent is the placement rate of the college. Taking up the placement offer and doing the job is my plan after getting my degree.

After 6th semester, students become eligible for placement. There are many companies including Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr, Walmart, and Tata Motors. Average package offered to my course is 12.8 lpa and the highest package was 49.5 lpa in the year 2022. About 90 to 93 percent of students get placement. The remaining students move towards the gate and upsc. I want to get placement from campus near 25-30 lpa.

Any year any semester any course students can apply for placement and internship opportunities. The first BTech year placement starts in the 7th sem. 5th sem for internship. Google, Microsoft, Oracle, de shaw, and sprinkler these companies visited last year. Height package was around 68 lakh. The average package of CSE is 22.31 lakh. The percentage depends upon a branch. Civil has low because they opt for government jobs rather doing bureaucrat jobs.

The college provides good placement opportunities for the students and PPO offers for students who are doing already internships in a company. For placement, students are eligible after the 6th semester and companies visit the campus for students to provide jobs. About 90 to 95 percent of students got placed on campus. I also want a job on campus.
