MTech Admissions through GATE.

Likes

College campus is greenery and all facilities are available
There is a 7th floor library, all the books are provided
College canteen is very good, no need to go outside for anything

Dislikes

Mess food is very normal , it should be improved
College location is not in the big city like other colleges.
Placement scenario is not upto the mark in this college

Considering the recent scenario,placements are average,The highest package is provided in the CSE department students, Average package is around 13 lpa and highest package is 40 lpa for Mtech ECE this year

Mtech Review of ISM Dhanbad

Likes

There is a big library in the campus with huge space
In the college you will find almost every thing of daily use
In this college,labs are of high standards

Dislikes

College is not better for high package job
The location of college is little bit concern
Food quality of mess is just normal,it should be updated

Placement Experience:

The placement senerio of this college is normal ,but if you study above average then you will get a good job , percentage of btech is 60 and of mtech is 40 ,here highest package is around 60 lakhs and average package is around 15 lakhs , students become eligible after one year of course complition

Likes

I liked its library and lush green campus
Hostel rooms and facilities provided in hostel
Library is very large and good enough and

Dislikes

Placements stats can be better it need to be looked in
Locations is a bit in outskirts it’s a bit far from main city
Hostel food is not good enough it can be better

Placement Experience:

Placements are average currently... Placements stats for Btech is nearly 60 percentage and for MTech it's nearly 40 percentage. here placement team is hard working and looking for a good overall placement state

Likes

College campus is beautiful, it is one of the oldest college of the india
Here you can get everything in the campus
Here security is very tight, in every class roon there is cctv camera

Dislikes

College location is little bit disappointed
When you go outside of college then you cannot find many common used things
Security is little bit concerned outside the campus

Placement Experience:

Here campus placement is good, many students convert their internship into full time and many got full time job opportunity after competition of one year of course, students become eligible for placement test and after cleared the test appear for interview and then got placement offer

IIT ISM BEST REVIEW

Likes

Infrastructure, and new lacture hall complexes
Lower and upper ground for activities like running, football
Sports activities center and swimming pool area

Dislikes

Mess food quality is low in case of other iits
Amber hostel food quality is low as compare to IIT ism other hostels
Airport is not here in dhanbad so travel issue is major things

The medium and average package offerd during IIT DHANBAD placement 2024 stood at INR. 15.92LPA and INR 20.79LPA respectively. Further a total of 547 offers were made duing IIT ism dhanbad which is good .

Likes

Great campus life, good coding culture, Pretty good peer group
Extra Curricular activities are also supported in the campus
Overall development is seen in a student

Dislikes

A student must have a good peer group must not indulge in illicit practices.
The night canteens do not have good employees.
There are not many food outlets in the campus

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college are pretty decent. This year the highest package went 52 LPA. Pretty good companies like Microsoft , Accenture, Deloitte, Goldmann Sachs comes at the campus. Core companies like ONGC also visits the campus. Approx 70% students get placed. And off campus opportunities can also be bagged as the degree from the institute has a pretty good value in the market.

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad Environment

Environment, greenery campus including brick red
Student Clubs and staff support and many

Dislikes

There are no air conditioned class rooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very mich interested in this course and I opted for it. faculty:student ratio changes based on the course All are well qualified and good at teaching yearly two sems and in every sem there is a mid term and end term

Placement Experience:

from 7 th semester we can apply for on campus placements Career development centre is there to take care of companies highest- 50lpa average - 20lpa nearly 50 % of the students get placements others will go for off campus or higher studies

IIT ISM Dhanbad college review

Likes

I liked the social life around the campus.
Library is the best. Open till 12pm which is best
Sports facilities are also good. You can have all the types of sports facilities

Dislikes

I disliked the location dhanbad which actually does not have enough connection via train and flight
Faculties are something I really hate. Sometimes i think to kidnap their kids but nvm
The exam part is worst. They should drop the idea of exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is integrated mtech in mathematics and computing. A good combination of computer science with mathematics such as linear algebra, number theory, probability and statistics, and a lot of subjects including industrial and applied maths.

Good Review IIT

Likes

The student run clubs are really good and inclusive
Placements are also quite good for a new IIT
Good competition and smart people are there

Dislikes

Infrastructure is sub par compared to older IITs
Little future prospects for fields apart from circuital or core Petroleum
Tough competition in higher branches for grades

Placement Experience:

Placements are good circuital branches and Petroleums branch which is niche to our college. Most student get into good companies and some go ahead with masters in other good IITs or forieign universities. Highway package reach around 60 LPA
