IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

For the exam we did not have time to prepare and I have choose the because of the core i much like it The prof are fully supported for us for any projects and others There are 50 days mid exams it was 30 marks and exams 50 marks and quiz 20 marks

In my branch the placements are good for my seniors in recent times . Both core and coding side jobs are having good scope of placements in my college. Core jobs are few but those few are very good . Packages are average.

Some of the subjects in mining are pretty good they teach us how to improve ongoing mining methods which was quite helpful and there will also be field visits to mines to improve better and get idea of real world.In every sem there will be quizzes and mid sem along with end sem.End sem carries high weightage.mid carries 30% quizzes 10% end sem 60%.

The circulum is quite fast and the sem ends in a blink of eye.sometimes it seems too fast and what ever the circulum the events are at the expected lvl so its good.could have reduced the course for 1st year and should have removed some of the courses

Students can sit in the placements once they feel that they're ready, generally after 3rd year. Many companies like ICICI Bank, Microsoft, Google, Phonepe etc. visit our college for taking the students. Average offers by a company lies around 10. Average package is around 14lakhs combining all courses. Highest package is 2cr. 87% of students got placed. My plans are to get a degree and just opt for a job.

Course curriculum is structured as per the high class institutions like mit standard. They teach about how to solve the real world problems. There are two quize and two exam, one before mid semester exam and other before end semester exam . Exam difficulty is between moderate to hard.

From 4 rt semester students are eligible for internship. And after may be they get ppo or after 7 th semester they got placement. There are lot of companies like google(Alphabet), meta , amazon, flip card and more companies.

The placements in our college is very good having average of 20laks package and high placement percentage. Also students have opportunites in internships in 3rd year of their respective course . More replicated companies offer packages to the students . I have plans of doing hardwork to get Government job .

The placements are good as of now from 1200 students 650 are placed of Btech. Of petroleum of 80 students 68 are placed. Companies which came for petro are Exxonmobil, SLB, ONGC, Reliance, Essar, Rystard Energy.

Our placement cycle is good. Every year 70% of peoples got hired by big companies. Good achievement by our campus students and thanks to our faculty team. Iam interested to looking forward to work with big companies
