IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad are strong, with students becoming eligible in their 7th semester. Top companies like Flipkart, Amazon, SLB, Square Point, Phonepe etc. visits the campus, offering roles in core, emgineering, analytics, software and consulting. The highest package exceed 60 LPA with an average of 16-18 LPA of top branches. Over 85% students secure placements annually. After completing my degree I plan to pursue a role in Sustainability and Energy sector combining my skills in consulting, analytics and strategy development.

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.

Eligibility for Campus Placements: Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester or the 4th year of their B.Tech program. Recruiting Companies: Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Tata Steel, Schlumberger, Deloitte, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, and Infosys. Core Companies: Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, L&T, and ISRO. Tech Giants: Adobe, Oracle, and SAP Labs. Placement Statistics: Highest Package: Around ?50–60 LPA, by top tech companies like Google or Microsoft. Average Package: About ?12–15 LPA, based on the department.

Placements are good at our campus but due to recession it decreased in last year.But,now the placementa ar picking up pace and many students are getting pre-placement offers too with an average package of 15 lakhs

Placements of IIT Dhanbad is very good. We get opportunity for both core and IT sector jobs . Average package of the college is about 15 lakh and average package of ece is about 25 lakh and highest package was 66lpa . Companies like google, microsoft, Jaguar flipkart , meta ,NVIDEA comes for on campus placement

Students are eligible for internship as they enter in 3rd year. More often placement starts at the fourth year. Approx all the big giant company like Google, Microsoft, Paytm, paypal, ongc, jpmorgan and many more companies come for giving offers. As I told earlier the average package is 15 lpa and the highest package for the last year was 1cr.

Students from 3rd semester are eligible for internship.Students from 4th semester are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Google, Amazon, Phone pe, Flipkart, Tata steel, IBM, Microsoft, Walmart, Samsung come for placement. Previous year approximately 60% students got placed and this year highest package was Rs. 520000.

After 7th semester, students are eligible for the placements. Various big tech companies come here for the placement like google, amazon, microsoft, phonepe, flipkart etc. Approx 80 percent student got placed in this course. After completing my degree, i will do a job in tech companies .

Students are eligible for applying campus placement in 4th year and internship from 3rd year. Various of companies come here to hire the students . Highest package is gone upto Rs.520000 and average package is offered approx RS. 180000. Arround 50% of students get placed here. I am planning to start my own Startup after getting my degree.

After 7th semester, students become eligible for the placement. Placement is average here . Highest package is approx 56 lakhs on campus and 1 cr offcampus. Various big tech companies like Google, microsoft, phonepe,flipkart,etc visit here and core companies also visit here like ONGC, CIL.etc.
