I liked the academic building will all facilities.
Here the campus is so good situated in peaceful place
Here most important placement ratio is outstanding.

Placement Experience:

As its national institute of technology here placement rate is outstanding, highest packege 83 lakh, avg package 15 lakh almost 95 percent student got placed. every year . In my branch avg package is nearly 11.5 lakh

Likes

Hostels and mess is exceptionally good .
The placements are decent for both core and non core branches
If you find good peer group the time will fly

Dislikes

Campus is a bit underdeveloped in terms of infrastructure
There aren't a lot of places to visit nearby
Attendance policy of minimum 75% exists for

Placement Experience:

My college is known for its placements with highest package being 82lpa and average of 9 lpa . The placements for core branches are also very good . This year my branch metallurgy has 100% placements.

Likes

The placement in NIT Jamshedpur is very good it is one of the highly Rand and it is which provide such a good placement
The DJ galaxy which is the lecture hall is very good it is completely air conditioned and very infrastructure is very nice
It has a lot of facilities of sports for student also inter Nits are held regularly which completes with other good good nits

Dislikes

The induction process of NIT Jamshedpur clubs are very bad and very unsystematic
You have to come to a lot of events organised by NIT Jamshedpur against your will
The curriculum in engineering college is very hectic there is a large amount of workload on student and a lot of assignments are given

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is very good there are a lot of big large companies that comes to the college such as atlascian blackrock and also the non core placement is very good as well the average package provided in the branch which I am in which is electronics branch is 24 lakhs ctc

the DJLHC has a good infrasturucture and was ac installed
it has facilities for sports for the players playing inter nit

Dislikes

the induction process of the clubs are very bad
the curriculum in engineering colleges are very hectic
you have to come to all the events against your will

In nit jamshedpur the placements stats are very good the companies which offer on campus placements in this college are companies like attlasian blackrock in non core as well as companies like tata telco for core placents at high as well as moderate pays.

My honest review about my college

Likes

I like my professor a lot because they are very helpful and are highly qualified.
I like my sports team as I am inducted in my football team.
I like my lecture building because it is Fully Air-conditioned.

Dislikes

I dislike the most that my college is open campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is very good the average placement of my college is 10 lakhs and the highest placement was this year 83 lakhs. The percentage of placed students is about 90 percent. There are several companies like Google Amazon and other MNCs.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR : THE UNDERRATTED COLLEGE

Likes

Mess food, college coding culture, fests and events on regular basis.
Amazing classrooms and single room hostel facilities.
Bonding of seniors and juniors and their guidance.

Dislikes

Induction process for getting inducted in teams.
Infrastructure is not very good and place near college is very far from the main city.
Some clubs are of no use in life but if you get imducted then you have to give much time to them which will just waste your time and nothing else.

Placement Experience:

Students start doing internships from 3rd Year onwards and try for PPO through them in big companies like amazon. Here many companies visit like Atlassian, Wipro, Blackrock Deloitte,etc. My plan is to get good placements from college after degree.100% placements are there for branches like CSE,ECE,EE and METALLURGY.

Likes

There is a chilling spot in my college called nescafe which delivers great coffee and food
I like my LHC were my classes are conducted.
I like my senior a lot they are very helpful and guide us in many ways.

Dislikes

I dislike my labs because they are very old.
I dislike that my college is an open campus due to that there are many intruders.
There is a lot problem regarding water there is a lot of water shortage.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is very good as compared to other NITs. Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester. My college is known for its high percentage placement in core branches. Highest placement this year was of ece 70 lakhs and the average is 15 lakhs. There were 98% placement in my branch. My plans after getting the degree is that i will go in It sector.

All the faculty members are well experienced and well trained.
No ragging is there. Senior and junior bonding is very strong
Placement of this college is best in core

Dislikes

Maximum area of the college is not used properly
The ratio of boys and girls is not well. It is 1:4
Academic is very strict. Have to maintain 75% attendance to seat in the exam.

Honest about my college

Likes

I liked my college building the culture of my college.
I liked the facilities which are provided in my college and the professors are also helpful
I like my senior and they are very helpful and guide us in many paths of our lives.

Dislikes

I dont like that in my college student are devided according to their community like south community north etc.
I dislike my labs a lot they are old and are not yet renewated.
The most important which i don't like is that my college is open campus so there are many vehicles and Intruders.

Placement Experience:

My college nit jamshedpur is known for its good placement record in core like in my mechanical branch the placement percentage is about 98%. My college offers good placement. Students are eligible for placement for. 7th semester in my college students also do internship in 3rd year. The highest placement this is was around 60 lakhs in electronics as far as I remember. The average package is around 15 lakhs. My plans after getting degree is that I will go for civil services.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR College Complete Review

Likes

The academic building and classes are wonderful and the labs are awesome as well. The classes are all AC rooms and smart rooms which I loved.
The placement rates are awesome with a lovely and great package in my course. The maximum package is awesome as well.
The campus life is pretty good, there are many clubs that covers all technical aspects, cultural aspects or social service aspects and all clubs are pretty active as well.

Dislikes

The campus is at the outskirts of the main city so that's one of the problem.
The food quality isn't good. Even after repetitive complains the good quality hasn't been improved.
The campus is open campus that's the worst thing in my opinion, like you can't roam inside the campus at night.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester internships process starts in college. Many companies visit our college one of the famous being Atlansia that provides highest package of 83 lpa CTC, average package in electrical engineering is 17.94lpa and it varies in different branches. More than 99% of students are placed in college. My plans is to get a good job.

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.

Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.

Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.

Academics

The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.

The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
