Remarks:

The bad part is the faculties infrastructure and education system is not upto the mark, we even didn't get proper wifi facility in our hostels, the good part is the hostels placements and freedom to to things we love.

NIT JSR - Review

Remarks:

The college is now being renovated and half of the work is done. So in case of infrastructure, it is developing with a good pace and in coming 3-4 years it will have a remarkable infrastructure. Also, the labs and workshops need to be maintained.

Remarks:

Overall the college is good for engineering purpose, the new academic building make it to compete with most of the best IITs. Faculties are well educated and have ample of knowledge, labs and classrooms are in good condition.

Remarks:

Institute placement is very good but the institute infrastructure is very poor.the lab has poor infrastructure as they lack of instruments, faculties don't want to take lecture, college ranking is not so good enough.

It's a best college for cse

Remarks:

The campus is 300+acre which is quite big. Old academics is to replaced by the new academic building which is very good and spacious with modern equipments for studying. There is nothing such as negative remarks except for the student council.

Nit Jamshedpur

Remarks:

This institute has a large campus. It has 9 boys hostels and 2 girls hostel. Academic building with 8 academic blocks. Placement is excellent here but infrastructure is very poor. Faculty members are satisfactory. New academic building is in process. It conducts several cultural and technical fest where students from others college come and participate.

Brief review of my college

Remarks:

In my experience I have spent my best 4 years of my life in NIT Jamshedpur. All the management staff, teacher, and others whenever required has helped me or my friend in all the conditions. They are doing there best to make this institution a more better place to be and I believe one day people will not need introduction for my college the name will be enough.

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.

Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.

Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.

Academics

The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.

FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA

Extracurricular Activities:

The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
