Entertainments provided in the campus is quite good, provides relaxation in this stressfull period
Faculty members are very good behaviour and experienced .they are intract with students very well.so easily teach portions.also doing works and assignments easily because of the way of study.very good work and sincere members.
The course fee is25380 per year .there is many scholarship available for financial support like mcm e grand .

Dislikes

I dont like some teachers who always come to scrollevery one and bad at teaching
We are staying at the oldest hostel here.the facilities provided are very poor and talking about food it is okayish.we are staying 6 members in a room with limited facilities to stdy and all.
All trees in the campus were cut ,that is cause very much trouble

Likes

The faculty’s they provide are experts and they use good teaching methods.
Each and every class has projectors and it helps us to learn easily.
The college provides 1 month of revision time before semester exams so that the children could get enough marks so that most of students get passed in exams.

Dislikes

There are limited number of programs and we have to take the money from ourselves to conduct one.
The college doesnt provides college tour so that there will be no relaxation in the academics.
The semester system is so hectic than of yearly batch. We have lots to write and study same as of the yearly batch and even the university haven’t cut shorten it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum designed for the semester students are somewhat hectic but semester system is easy to clear the examinations easier. The teaching methods are good the teachers just use the projector for teaching. Most of the topics are given to the students for taking seminars.sometimes the exams and clinical posting comes together its so difficult .

Good atmosphere , faculties are very helpful full
Class are good getting good practical sections
4 year based course full theory based classes

Dislikes

Stress because of full time class need time to rest
There no leave we have classes on every Saturday
Fees is high comparing to other colleges

Bsc medical laboratory science is good course for who searching for paramedical course.we have wide options after the course exams are conducting at time at valuation are very strict good facilities are there to clear every doubts

More infrastructure facilities is needed for the treatment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching methods are very good and every little bit things are expained in a very good manner . But the projects and the drawing works are bit difficult.Modern anatomy and ayurvedic anatomy both feels hard to study.

Govt medical collage kottayam

Good practical experience.Because it is a Medical collage hospital nd we are studying in lab so we can expose with a lot of specimens and organisms
Good teachers and faculties.Provide well academic support
In the small period of 2 years we can make a lot of experience

Dislikes

Theory hours are very lessMost of the time we are in clinical posting and that is exhausting
No regular programs like other educational institutions

First of all this is a paramedical course and medical field have endlessl opportunities so I chose this course.and duration is far less than a graduation.syllubus is very easy to study only three main subject groups have to stude for 2 years that make the exams further better

Infrastructure of college is very nice . Our college have 3 Floor building
The labs which provided by the college is very good because it has every aspect of nursing practical things
There is also a badminton court which provide an entertaining programme for students in between the study time

Dislikes

There is specific instuct which lives arounds the local area it's entry in to the class is very awful thing
There is inadequate ventilation at the time of summer, so it's feel very hot in the class
College doesn't have canteen facility, so it force us to bring food from home

The curriculum is a very easy way to teach us The point which influenced me to take the course is that there is more important to practical knowledge than the theory knowledge There should some improvement that the curriculum should done is that it should include a specific time for the lab periods to improve the practical skill

Why should u choosea govt medical college

Likes

College is very well oriented in terms of co curricular activities
Good facilities like gym labs badminton volleyball basketball cricket and football courts
Good faculties and lab facilities that enhances our learning experience

It's a course that most people dream of. Being a doctor us always a well dreamt proffession. And studying in a govt college has its added benefits as well. Since we can learn affordable. It also gives us good clinical exposure coz of its patient load

TD MEDICAL COLLEGE- A GREAT EXPERIENCE

Good professors.they help all of us. They teach quite efficiently
Good ambience as hospital is not in the same building as the college.

Dislikes

A little setback is sometimes the infrastructure like AC was not there but now it is.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As it is MBBS we have to learn everything possible. So it is not easy but it is always worth it in the end no matter how much studies you have to carry out you can pull it off in the end. The curriculum is vast but everything is worth putting doctor in front of your name.

All about Government medical College kannur

Affordability: As a government medical college, it offers affordable medical education compared to private institutions, making it accessible to a broader segment of society.
Gmc kannur have a big Central library for students with working AC & wifi, which provided a good environment for students to study
Gmc kannur have a biggest ground in kerala, where students can play football, cricket, running etc..

Dislikes

Hostels are very much conjusted, we have to share rooms with 2-3 people & buliding is also very old....
Conectivity with the city - Campus is situated 30km from the kannur city.. which I think is not good about clg, for for small small things we have to travel 30km
Food - For North Indian people especially who are veg it is to much difficult to survive, veg food quality is very bad

Placement Experience:

In MBBS there is no placement, after completing the course you can open your own clinic or hospital or join any other hospital, which will pay you approximately 80,000 per month... You can also join the college hospital as a medical officer or junior residents in which you will get monthly 60,000 For this you just have to give only one interview, if you passed then you can join

Dislikes

First of all college infrastructure.... there is no sufficient classroom available and the left one's are with poor facilities.. Damaged LCD and Mic.There is no adequate amenities facilities .There is no student teacher friendly relationship here.
For theory classes clinical attendance has been taking. Inappropriate arrangement of academic calendar and clinical rotation which gives us more stress during exam time.Taking clinical attendance on public holidays.No clinical visits are getting.
Taking extra theory hours for subjects than alloted in the syllabus.There is no adequate college buses for travelling purpose to different clinical posting There is no internship for 2 batches and no placement.There is no campus environment here.

Course curriculum is good...And exam schedules are at good time.But there is clash between clinical hours and theory hours.Need more appropriate teaching methods.clinical experience is the main thing in this course.

Academically the college is excellent and very effective
Extracurriculars are also very active and they motivate you as well
Freedom wise also it is better than most private colleges

Could have beenmore better infrastructire
More transportation facility and convenience

It is competency based curriculum(cbme) And this current curriculum focuses on wthics,communication etc along with academics..because they think it is important for doctors to know how to interact with a patient along with academic excellence
