We get government scholarships also according to our category they also ensure every student fill these forms.
It has best teaching faculty with all experienced and well qualified and best trained skill of teaching
Festivals are celebrated within surrounding with all other institutes with all enjoyment and fun.

Dislikes

The fees of hostel and mess is too high. and college ask money for every small thing
The campus is not so good and the hostels are also not so good.
The faculty to student ratio is excellent at about 1:15.the teachers are always approachable but little problem lies is that,most of them just doesnt care about academics n the syllabus they teach of their respective subject.

My college experience

Likes

Our college library provides us different types of books so that we can learn any subject in deep and understand properly
Our college campus is surrounded by many trees and it is very big so you'll never feel insecure about campus
Our teaching staff is very supportive and understanding the actual problems of us and helps us to get better lnowledge of that particular subject

Dislikes

Sometimes our lab instruments given to us are not proper.sometimes they are broken or not washed.
Our classroom and very small and in summer you can't sit in classroom properly
College canteen is little dirty and sometimes unhygienic also

Course Curriculum Overview:

At start i wasnt sure i can do this course but during curriculum of 20 days of my first days of college some speakers was invited they motivated me that i can do much more than i think in this field. Medical field prepares you for the real world experience how youll handle the situation and patients totally depends on you. I think teaching faculties should also focus on why we are learning the subjects so that we also get that it is important for us to study it properly. So for our unit tests we get 15 mins for 15 marks questions. It is toally mcq based. Term exams we get 3 hours for 100 marks paper.

Student and their bonding with people and interactions
College festival and group training and they are very good
Good infrastructure in all practical lab and anatomy lab

Dislikes

Faculty are more strict here and giving so much stress
The college is soo far from kharghar station
There is no hostel service for girls and boys

The course batchler in physiotherapy is a good course .which provide relief from may pain and all related to gym soo i choose This course offer soo many opportunities for students which can be done after 12 pcb and neet If you get 200-300mark in neet then you can get easily in this college

In my medical college I have must appreciate about the academic curriculum.
Different sports and fun activities like Ganesh chaturthi,Holi, elixir gathering.
The helping nature of doctor and orientation towards clinical based studies

Dislikes

In gmc ,The campus is vast but not usable .
Gym khana is very old and instruments must be taken. Ew
Campus of our college is in rural areas, not much facilities are given

Course Curriculum Overview:

1)There is direct relation with the patient. And the clinical approach is influenced mi to choose this course. 2) Practical exam should take more serious than theroy exam. 3) 4 times in year exam are held.

Infrastructure is very good here and the staff is also very supportive
Nirf rankings is improving day by day...and the college is also NAAC accredited
As it is a government dental college..there are many areas where you can explore

Dislikes

Hostel toxicity is here.. like many old schooled things which is inappropriate regarding a medical college
There is no mess in the girl's hostel...and this is very uncomfortable

In first year.. there are of total 4 subjects..of which three are of medical subjects and 1 is of dental... dental subject is Dental anatomy and dental histology and medical subjects are anatomy physiology and biochemistry...three internal exams and one final university exam is there.

Campus is good except for the college town which is not that great honestly
Teaching staff is excellent and extremely helpful

The college town is not good(for people coming from metro cities )
The group of people around is not that great honestly and particularly would take more time to find your tribe
Seniors are helpful but due to the hierarchy there is a certain ego to be satisfied

The curriculum based on healing and nurturing And providing care is the greater benefits of this course The curriculum is vast and very fast and requires for you to adapt quicker than the rest It is clinically and non clinically based so it prepares for any real world scenario concerning medical issues

Opportunities after bds

There are lot of facilities available in my college such as xray machineand machine autoclave in each department there of instruments sterilisation and patient flow is very good
Yess my college campus is just awesome surrounding is also good there is greenary everywhere where patient and relatives can roam l
Experienced faculties are there in each department there were 8 department in my college prosthodontics , conservative and endodontics,pedodontics ,periodontics etc etc along with that cultural events also organised in college twice a year

Dislikes

There are lot of patients so there is slight inconvenience to the patient is some interns treat rudely
Seniors are not so supportive that's the main thing and study your own and pass the examination
There is lack of students support for organizing a event or fest

Bds is a very widespread along with the tooth we got to study it's serious complications if not treated . And specially I got the opportunity to interact and treat wide variety of patient so it can be helpful for me in my career ahead Yes I really believe along with dentistry it also teaches the real world aplliactiobs Areas of improvement is there , specially awaring the people of village and rural area about oral hygiene and its effect on health There is 5 years of duration for bds course 4 years academics and 1 year rotatory internship I think Difficulty level is moderate

Clinical experience

Likes

Hospital is very big for clinical experience . Many patients admitted there.
Enviornment is safe. Teachers are very supportive.
Hostel is available for girls. Mess is available.food of mess is good.warden is very strict. rules and regulations are very strictly followed

Dislikes

Boys hostel are not there. Girls hostel room is very small. Sometimes water enter in hostel. Many rules are there.
Any cultural Programs are not conducted there . Only ganapati festival happens there.
They don't give vacation even in summer too

Teaching method is not morden there. They use blackboard and chart for teaching.no any digitalization there. Clinical duty helded there for experience.but they don't teach students. Student have to self learn and self observe.

Why you should take admission in Dhanvantari Homoeopathic medical college

There is no campus in college and no space for parking vehicle
Not so big class rooms and not so good benches
The fees for this college is too high considering the facilities

This college have a hospital attached to the college building so there a clinical lecture in which we can go see actual patients and how they're treated There is not much area for improvement for the curriculum and teaching methods

Campus provide various activities to keep us engage like movie nights , musical evening various workshops
Infrastructure is decent plus they is good atmosphere teaching staffs are approachable and they teach effectively also they have alot us mentors so we can share our problems
Campus also have a psychologist to help people improve they mental health and overall campus has a positive vibe

Dislikes

Mess taste is not so nice they provide variety of food but taste is not that good
There is No AC in hostel , college or library and there is no wifi
The college is located in outskirts so going to city is an issue

I feel its an interesting branch i get a lot of exposure to patient i learnt many things related to the oral cavity Teaching methods can be improved by introducing root canals and extraction since 3 rd year beginning and more of the patient flow also this course practice ancient methods so they nust introduce new aspects and new techniques which are used in clinics

Teachers faculty of first year students are very comparative. Canteen is reasonable price . For students it is in low rate . Again the class room has Ac .
Campus is small so you need not to walk much around. You can find hospital OPD building.casulty all on distance of 2 min.
No much noise as scenes in Mumbai it is still bit less noise.. Mumbai Central station is on walking distance around 10 min

Dislikes

Construction is not over yet it was going on when ia enter the college still it is going
Campus is not that big some class room bench are not proper

My college stands ranked 3 in Mumbai,it gave us experience and a practical approach, and last year we has an internship where we could improve
