The teaching faculty is excellent. they are expert and have a very good knowledge about the topics.
Scholarship will be soon arranged for the students who achieves by giving a test and is eligible for scholarship.it is important to be able to provide scholarship for althose who are in need .they need to be helped .
Students will absolutely enjoy their campus life as there are various fests, different days are celebrated and the campus itself is very beautiful to enjoy.

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty member of these college, also the hod is a liar.
The admission process was not that difficult but the website was very bad to handle...
Big line for paying fees, fees structure, no online payment available for many colleges

Extra curricular activities other than studies such as different types of clubs
Sports activities are also present in college
Culture fest and gathering annual fest etc

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not much good it is decent
Teaching is not good that much some teacher are good but some are not
College timetable is so headache 8 to 9 hours college

Placement Experience:

From 3rd to 4th year students start getting placed as well as start getting internship in many companies. There are almost 500 to 600 offers made last year average package is 4.5 to 5 lpa.highest package of 2025-26 is 18 lpa about 70 percent of students get placed every year and this placement percentage is going on increasing evary year. I'm planning to start an startup instead of doing job after finishing the course.

Understanding of BMCC

Likes

my college organizes different events so it helps to find talent
the college also have expert faculty so they help us in problem solving
our college promote girls empowerment by organizing different events

Dislikes

timing of college which is 7.30 to 11 so it is very early in morning
some teachers act very rudely while submitting late assignment

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum of our college is very related with real time and also teachers give real life examples while teaching.the teachers beleive in pratical knowledge rather than theoritical understanding.exams are somewhat difficult.there are certain theory in our curriculum which is outdated so it should be deleted

The college have good practical labs projects
Many of teachers are greatly qualified in Phd

Dislikes

The college campus is not that much big.
As we go to Higher year college teaching quality drops
Overcrowding becoz college location is at urban place of Pune

Placement Experience:

The placements of the Wadia College is decent like on IT /CS companies. But you want great package like 10 to 12 lakhs the you have to build your own profile. College not provides that much exposure.

Hard But Bitter Truth

Likes

The boys and girls ratio is nearly 1:1 overall in college
The college faculty is very friendly in nature
The diversity in students across India and foreigners too

Dislikes

The lack of infrastructure is a big issue
The influence of Marathi students and faculty
No 👎 hostel facility provided by the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is neither difficult nor easy. It is a good curriculum for even an average student. The teacher mostly used the traditional teaching method. It needs to be improved. The exam's difficulty level is not so high again good for average students

Reality of College

Likes

So many eaterys near college and also full food, and snacks like things.
College Department in all factors is very large does helps in getting every doc easily.

Dislikes

Travel System needs to be more devloped.

Placement Experience:

Placements are Normal in my college like, Freshers get less package like 2.4 LPA but they get placed as I have listened from seniors. Like I am in first year now I dont have much knowledge about this.

Gist of my college

Likes

It is situated in the heart of the city and it is very easy to commute over there. Also there are many hostels and pgs in the nearby area which are not very expensive. Hence the location of the college is very suitable for the students.
College has many functions which intricate values of social mixing and interaction with the fellow students. Also college provides alot of scope for the extracurricular activities likes sports and other events etc.
Faculty which is hired are experienced ones with their phds completed and with net exam passout. They have good knowledge about the subjects they are teaching and are very friendly with students and are very cooperative.

Dislikes

Sometimes lectures might be extended to complete syllabus so it was little hectic as a student.
Personally i do not like to get up early but lectures used to start from early morning 7 o clock.
College was strict regarding the attendance and it was compulsory to attend and complete 75% of the attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose my course because i was interested in the specific field of mine. Curriculum is upto date and well revised also there were practicals based on that course. So that students can get practical knowledge of the given field. Course was detailed with real life examples and theories which were useful for future academic pursuit.

The library is good and nice and works good manner
The cultural and creative activities going on in the college
The faculties and teachers are good and understanding

Dislikes

The campus is small and compact and not enough technology
The faculties and teachers are good but not impactful
The crowd is not good and cause noise and chaos.

Very bad experience about this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provide some extra certificates like Excel or others which not value for money and also taeches foreign language but not single student can speak after the degree. And also not any facilities can speak german language

Placement Experience:

They claim to give 100% placements, altough many seniors in contact are still unemployed, but it also depends on your overall college performance if you get the ppa5cement opportunity, top companies, MNCs visit for placement.

Likes

Placements are really great hence one can expect a good job
Teaching methodology is really good to industry standards
You get to meet good intellect people hence increasing your intelligence

Dislikes

At the end it is a private college so amenities are less
College isn't much big in campus size so not much to explore
It is also a bit far from the city hence not a really good choice

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I am doing MBA so my further aspirations are to get a good job further with a higher package. The curriculum prepares a person to quite a good level to the industry standards which helps a lot really. College still uses the traditional way of teaching hence can improve on that

What is your review of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)?

One of my friends recently graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). According to her, it is better to do anything rather than joining this institute. She mentioned some of the reasons that made her feel this way.

The institute only focuses on making money and not actual education.
The syllabus and curriculum followed by the institute are outdated.
Practical training is not properly given, making students lag behind the industry demands.
Basic things like a proper academic calendar are not provided.
Re-evaluation is time-consuming and usually not done properly.
A 60% from SPPU is not considered good enough for admission to other colleges. They do not consider it as first class.
They are known to have the worst and uncooperative staff members. They are not at all helpful or considerate about any problem.

It is suggested that you do not opt for SPPU as they are highly unprofessional. They do not have a proper way to conduct classes, assemblies, extracurricular activities and get involved in everything half-heartedly. SPPU is a good example of how a university should be not.
