Likes

The teaching faculty is excellent. they are expert and have a very good knowledge about the topics.
Scholarship will be soon arranged for the students who achieves by giving a test and is eligible for scholarship.it is important to be able to provide scholarship for althose who are in need .they need to be helped .
Students will absolutely enjoy their campus life as there are various fests, different days are celebrated and the campus itself is very beautiful to enjoy.

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty member of these college, also the hod is a liar.
The admission process was not that difficult but the website was very bad to handle...
Big line for paying fees, fees structure, no online payment available for many colleges

top reaserch college savitribai phule pune university college

Likes

the professors are highly qualified and deeply committed to their subjects.
the university conducts a science experiment
the science department have well equipped labs, spacious classroom and excellent for reasearch.

Dislikes

core science streams like chemistry and biology have limited campus recruitment.
there is a few opportunities to field visit.
admission and scholarship processes can be slow and confusing

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because subject like chemistry, physics and mathematic, with pratical lab . the syllabus is acadenically rigorous and suitable for student aiming to pursue higher studies like M.Sc,.GATE or research fellowships.

I very liked about their seriousness about liberal learning subject
I engaged in Garba nights and Farewell party and Social environment is very positive around campus
The faculties in college have more than 5 years experience and they focus more on practical way of education than materialistic.

Dislikes

They need to conduct seminars frequently.
Conduct Sports Activities and guidance for skilled player.
They need to plan industrial trips monthly.

From 6th Semester Students become elligible for campus placements Various Comapanies visit this college for recruitment like HCL,INFOSYS,ZENSOFT, MAHINDRA LOGISTICS,INTELLISWIFT,COGNIZANT,IBM,SANKEY SOLUTIONS,ANALYZER,TECH MAHINDRA,NAUKRI.COM And made more than 1000+ offers per year Highest Package Offered is ruppes 43 Lakhs and Avearge Package Offered is 4.50 lakhs More than 70% studnts placed each year My plan after getting degree was works as devops engineer in Microsoft.

Sinhgad college of engineering's have some Good and supportive teaching staff.
College can offer Student Traning Program (STP) this is so important for get good placements.

Dislikes

Sinhgad college of engineering's some office staff is rude.
College didn't have his college uniform.
College building are look like so older.

Placement Experience:

SCOE has a strong record of attracting mass recruiters, especially for the IT and Computer Science branches. An aggregate score of 60% or higher (or 6.0+ CGPA). So many companies are coming for placements in college campus such as TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, Nvidia and etc. international companies offers, such as ?27 LPA+ from companies like Japan Third Party. In college web site they can say 90% or even 100% students get placed but honestly 70 to 80% students get placed with average package 6LPA. And some students have high package because of his/her afferts. Just I enrolled in first year as engineering students my first goal is get 9+ CGPA.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Likes

Infrastructure of college is very good and canteen is decent. some students were stating as sasta iit i dont khow but it feels like good infrastructure.
college has good amount of girls and boys ratio with students from other states. Feels college vibe and good interactions withs girls ;as a boy .
examination management is very good. very strict. but good college life with friends and refreshing moments

Dislikes

faculy for civil branch basically low branch is not good except some. but good faculty for ai and tech branch. Accountable on students voice.
college area is not that close to pune cityand locality is in village so you have to go for city for exposure and internship.

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

The Syllabus is good compared to other colleges.
College timing is also very les like 16 hr per week (for SY)

Dislikes

It has a very huge intake so it might be difficult at the time of placement
the campus is very small compared to intake

As per my knowledge , students from 3 rd yeear are eligible for on campus internships. As per official website highest package is 51 LPA , and the average for CS Department is 10.9 LPA . The placement percentage is 96 for last year CS branch

My real experience till now at Cummins college

Likes

All faculties mostly holds PHD degree , excellent academics , discipline and all round development
Encourages students to take part in extracurricular activities like sports , dance . College dance team know as teaminsia won too much competitions from last too thre years sports team is also very strong
The placement record of Cummins college is also very nice many students placed with good salary package infact last to last year microsoft also visited the campus . They have full support for intrenships

Dislikes

The college is very strict about attendance, punctuality and discipline , which sometimes feels stressful
The faculty accepts very high expectations from students
There are many assignments, practicals , and internal test which can be overloaded with times taking leaves are too much difficult

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is provided by Cummins college of engineering for women pune from 7th semester they are eligible for campus placement average package is around 10 Lakh per annum my plan is to placed in one reputed company after completion of this course highest package varies yearly Almost 80% placement is here

College is organising training session for placemet right from 1st year of college.
Rules are strictly obeyed.Like Uniform is compulsory for exams. If not followed fines are collected from students.
Plenty of Parking space is available for 2 wheeler as well as four wheeler.

Dislikes

Jammers are installed in college. it means you cannot call anyone and anyone cannot call you. Sometimes Internet range is available by which we can call by whatsapp.
Ventilation is not proper in some classrooms.
CCTV is not there in entire college except some specific places

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

VIT pune - The turning moment

Likes

There is application based learning and various hackathons are organised.
The faculty members are good and very supportive.
Various clubs are available to join for student and participate (both technical and non technical).

Dislikes

The campus is too short and there is also issues regarding vehicle parking
There is too much crowd which results in higher competition.
The Canteen of VIT is not that good and expected.

Placement Experience:

In fourth year like before end semester most of the students are employable. The highest package as of now (2024-2025) is 51LPA offered by UBER and many companies visit like Capgemini , Wipro etc and NVIDIA too came for some year .

What is your review of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)?

Saikat Das,studied at Savitribai Phule Pune University (2020)

One of my friends recently graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). According to her, it is better to do anything rather than joining this institute. She mentioned some of the reasons that made her feel this way.

The institute only focuses on making money and not actual education.
The syllabus and curriculum followed by the institute are outdated.
Practical training is not properly given, making students lag behind the industry demands.
Basic things like a proper academic calendar are not provided.
Re-evaluation is time-consuming and usually not done properly.
A 60% from SPPU is not considered good enough for admission to other colleges. They do not consider it as first class.
They are known to have the worst and uncooperative staff members. They are not at all helpful or considerate about any problem.

It is suggested that you do not opt for SPPU as they are highly unprofessional. They do not have a proper way to conduct classes, assemblies, extracurricular activities and get involved in everything half-heartedly. SPPU is a good example of how a university should be not.
