Likes

The teaching faculty is excellent. they are expert and have a very good knowledge about the topics.
Scholarship will be soon arranged for the students who achieves by giving a test and is eligible for scholarship.it is important to be able to provide scholarship for althose who are in need .they need to be helped .
Students will absolutely enjoy their campus life as there are various fests, different days are celebrated and the campus itself is very beautiful to enjoy.

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty member of these college, also the hod is a liar.
The admission process was not that difficult but the website was very bad to handle...
Big line for paying fees, fees structure, no online payment available for many colleges

PCCOE Pune : Academics, Campus and opportunities

Likes

I liked how my college encourages academics.
I liked the atmosphere of campus during events and also at evenings.
Hostel service is really great , canteen has great options.

Dislikes

I don't like the strictness regarding attendance.
The College people are too conservative regarding dressing - uniform is compulsory.
The placements have dropped since the time i took admission

From seventh semester ,students are eligible for placements. Companies like tcs, infosys, cappgemini, accenture are common for hiring. Almost 60 percent strudents get placed. My plans after degree is placement plus MS/MTech if a good gate score.

Exploring my 3 years college experience

Likes

I like the campus area as it is very clean and has greenery everywhere
Girls to boys ratio is almost equal in our college and also the facilities are very good
The curiculum is based on the current industry innovations and i think it is the best part

Dislikes

I dont like the relative grading system in our college as i think it is very unfair for students
I think college should support and promote sports as there is very less exposure for sports activities
The compulsion of 75% attendance is the worst think that i dislike

The course curriculum is very related and and in relevance with the ongoing industry trends . Just i think the syllabus is quite therotical which makes it boring while learning complex topics . Rest everything is fine and well structured

the students are eligible from 6th semester for the placements many companies come for the placement some of them are barclays,capgemini,delloite,cognizant,etc.. the highest package is 61 LPA in uber

The syallabus of courses is well aligned with industry standards beneficial to future engineers.

Dislikes

No proper fest like conducted like other college .just the annual gathering and days .The schedule of day is so long.

Placement Experience:

Good placements. Renowned companies visit our college like mercedez, amazon , tata , wipro etc.Average package is 6 lpa for computer Engineering while highest striked 61 lpa uber off campus and aprox 34 on campus.

Likes

College is more focused on Academic and environment of college is very good
Faculty of college is good and properly trained and knowledgeable
Placement is also good for IT and CS students

Dislikes

Placement is noot good for core branches students
More focused on Academic rather than sports or events
College time is more so students get less time to focus on other skills

After 6 semester students become eligible for placement. Many tech companies visit the college and some Core company like info chip lattice etc highest package is of 62lpa and average package is 6 7 lpa 50 to 60 percent students get placed any my plan is of higher studies

Nice Hostel facility is provided which includes all the cleaning stuff and AC facility, mace facility and well maintained hostel.
Some programs which are conducted by different groups of Department are nice

Dislikes

Student have to be in college uniform and I card which is very uneasy and weird for the btech students
Hostile timing or the in time of the hostel is 9:30 which is very less. It should increase the in time of hostel
Faculties are only focused on syllabus completion Proper course understanding is not present.

Placement Experience:

There is Central placement cell established for replacement and it conducts internship drives and placement drives in 3rd and 4th year respectively and it notifies the students the that the companies ies which are coming and with eligibility criterias and by that students are get placed and selected for internship and placement offer also.

The green campus is very good and the campus is maintained well
Cleanliess is well maintained by staff members
Every class room has projector and wifi available

Dislikes

Accounting department is slow and little rude
They give very less holidays and has 6 days college in a week
Students from another states gets little bit difficulty because of language

•They have started teaching coding and how to prepare for interview from first semester so that thing influenced me •The curriculum prepares student for real world is around 75-80 percent remaining is depending on the student •maths faculty for soft branches is not that much experienced so they should bring more experienced faculty for soft branches like - CS,CSD,AIDS • 1 semester is of 6 months and there two exams in it first one happens in 1 months and second is 6th month

Is it Right to Choose ATSS

Dislikes

the timing of lectures is not fixed they send the schedule just day before of next day.
the college also charges fees for bonfide even after this much fees.

Placement Experience:

the Placements cell of our college is very helpful.they bring various MNCs companies such as capgemini, wipro,infosys etc for our college.the average package is about 4.2LPA ,Almost 60-70% students get placed every year ,and compared to last year the placement reports are good this year .

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Most of our faculties where were educated (PhD or PhD scholars) and always ready to share there in knowledge and experience.
Regular lecture and teaching was done mostly.

Dislikes

Building and infrastructures seems slightly older with not required timely improvement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

What is your review of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)?

One of my friends recently graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). According to her, it is better to do anything rather than joining this institute. She mentioned some of the reasons that made her feel this way.

The institute only focuses on making money and not actual education.
The syllabus and curriculum followed by the institute are outdated.
Practical training is not properly given, making students lag behind the industry demands.
Basic things like a proper academic calendar are not provided.
Re-evaluation is time-consuming and usually not done properly.
A 60% from SPPU is not considered good enough for admission to other colleges. They do not consider it as first class.
They are known to have the worst and uncooperative staff members. They are not at all helpful or considerate about any problem.

It is suggested that you do not opt for SPPU as they are highly unprofessional. They do not have a proper way to conduct classes, assemblies, extracurricular activities and get involved in everything half-heartedly. SPPU is a good example of how a university should be not.
