Sambalpur University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Classes start from 7 am to 2 pm and there are practical classes from 2 pm to 4 pm (Thursday and Saturday every week). The teaching method was good. Overall I enjoyed my study here. I mention the Odia course because Odia is a very simple teaching method that is very good at all Sambalpur University. All exams are very timely and very hard process.

It was a good option for me in my academic career and I thought it could help me succeed in the future. The faculties were average. Some were partial but most of them were good and well behaved. They were all well qualified as per the requirement of the college. There was one internal for each subject per semester and each semester was held every 6 months. It was easy to pass but difficult to gain good grades.

I choose this course because I learned from this subject what is related to a learner intimately in his/her life and I m also a learner so it motivates this subject for pursuing my graduation in education. In my course, there are 33 seats was available. Teaching methods were very good and the qualification of maximum faculties are ma and ph.d which enough and should be. Every semester held an internal exam which is 15 marks and we are giving practical also in every paper which is 25 marks and other marks are held in the semester exam. There is a total of 6-semester examinations. The examination was also held on time. It's very easy to pass or be graduate or got graduation certificate eespecially in my course BA Education.

The student who appeared in the last semester are eligible for the campus placement. A biggest company of Odisha that is vedant aluminum company conduct the campus placement for various post with average annual package of 3 lakh per annum.

The course offered was closely related to UGC NET. The student-teacher ratio is 6:1 Talented guest faculty from various universities are invited every semester National seminars are held regularly in the department Exams are average difficulty and it is fairly easy to pass.

The students from 5 th sem become eligible for placement. Comapnies like TATA , INFOSYS , INFOTECH , GEMINI visits and offers placement.the highest package is 4 lakhs per annum. Most of the students do mba after bba .

From the 6th semester, the campus placement is selected where various companies come and offered us. Highest 65 75k lowest 30 to 40k There is a low percentage of 6-5% of students who get placed. I will take over my family business

There is no placement in college. Students apply for jobs whichever they want to choose as their profession. There are not so good placement offers because college comes under Sambalpur University so they do not provide direct placement.

I choose BSc because I had an interest in it. The chemistry faculty is a little bit weak. But maths and physics faculties are good. Also the faculty were present as much as they were required. The faculties were well qualified and good for my stream. Exams were held two times a year. But now its semester-wise exams are held.

Although the placement in our college is not very good it is good and many companies like tcs, Wipro, Tech Mahindra comes to our campus to give placement. Last year 60% of students got placed in different companies. The highest package is 12lpa as of now in our college however average package is 4lpa. My plan to take placement after my degree
