- Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
- The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
- Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
- The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
- The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

College is very good. With well administration. Have very big building and well classrooms, labs for all aspects. Teacher are very good with knowledgeable faculty. This college have well reputation and all the big companies visited this for campus selection

- I liked abouts the college building. It is old but yet renovated. The rooms are quite good with all the academic faculties.
- There are various clubs where you can join according to your interests
- There are cafes inside the college where you can get your snacks which help you a lot.
Dislikes
- The timetable of the college is very hectic ,I think it will be with every colleges
- The distance from hostel to college. In summer days you had to struggle for going to college after the lunch
Placement Experience:
For all branches both government as well as private companies campus come for each year. Specifically mechanical branch has quite decent placement rates with a good avg of 9 lakhs. Also other branch has it's own companies campuses.

Placement Experience:
6th semester students become eligible for campus placements.the Companies visited are tpwodl ,maruti Suzuki ets & no of offers made were sufficient .Percentage of students getting placements is 70.my plans after getting the degree is mba

- college is in outside main town, no pollution no noise
- Street food just outside the hostel available everywhere time with hostel delivery with good price
- Hostel room , clubs mainly cultural clubs
Dislikes
- It is open campus hostel at different place college at the place
- Mess Food quality is very poor , the management is akso very bad , nobody listens, development is done very slow
- Teacher and professor are not good , some are good but maximum not , 75% attendance criteria
Placement Experience:
In 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement
Vedanta, vedantu ,MCL, byju's, Tata technology Tata Power, Deloitte and many more
Highest placement from college is 23 lakh and lowest placement is 2.5 lakhs
Almost 70% students are placed every year
If college placement does not work one can prefer gate exam as many students here come in prepare for get exam

Course Curriculum Overview:
Vssut burla is the best college for mechanical engineering.Here Faculties are the best supporters for students. They are good teacher. They give their best to educate to us. We have 8 semester in total.

- It should have a closed campus with all the infrastructures
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students start preparing for it. Most of the students get placed in the 7th semester itself. Average package here is 7-8 lakh per annum. Nearly 90% student get placed. Companies such as Tata,JSW, Hindalco, Jio, L&T come for campus placement

- I just like the campus life there. And you just get decent opportunities again despite not having a good rank in jee.
- You get good opportunities because of the old alumni network.
Dislikes
- Old curriculum and 75 attendence criteria.
Placement Experience:
6 th semester students are eligible for sitting in the placement. Various companies from different domains came here and hire students. Although now in recession we faced some problems. But at the end skill says it all. If you are well skilled you are good to go.

Curriculum is too good here. It attracts you to join the college the areas of improve ment are the website crashing that should be avoided. Teaching methods are very good. The level of faculty is best

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
