- Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
- The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
- Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
- The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
- The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

Placement Experience:
From the 4th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Tata, and Google have visited colleges some students grab offers from them.
The highest package is 10 lakh and the average is 4 lakh. 60,70% of students get placement. my play to get placement in a better company after my degree.

- Senior and junior relations are quite good
- Infrastructure is currently developing as the gov is providing 2000 crore fund
Dislikes
- Nothing nothing to be dislike about our college .
- It is remote places there are so many visiting places near to college
Placement Experience:
The employability is very much good. This happens because our college has given us an internship and a Major Project. The average package of our college is 8 lpa per annum. All over the branch students are placed in good MNCs and they are also good in the work field.

- Facilities For students in hostel like playground and free high speed internet
- Annual fest As discussed before (samavesh, cussing, illumina)
- Trchinical and non technical clubs( like IEEE, e-cell, robotics etc)
Dislikes
- Exam patten ( qsb-ans and mark ratio), some teacher give good marks and some are not. For a same answer mark may vary with teacher to teacher
- Syllabus (syllabus is over loaded for students to complete in a semester and for teacher also. As a result teacher skip some topics
- Senior - junior culture, though there is a anti ragging cell, ragging cases are seen every year.
Placement Experience:
Placement record is quiet good with 6.5 LPA. Almost every student is placed at the end of final year.
There are many companies comes for placement like tata, mahindra, wipro, aditya birla group, i serve u, L&T and more. Almost 30+ companies.
Sslary vary 6- 12+ LPA

- Mess quality is very poor and food menu need to be improved.
Placement Experience:
Placement is very sound in this college. And it's the package is very eye-catching. Many MNCS and govt. Companies come for college placement like Wipro, Delloite, TCS, ISRO, Infosys, IBM, and many more. Almost 80% of students get qualified. Packages range from 8 lakhs to 48 lakhs.

- Teachers are very interactive friendly and supportive
- Wifi connection provided at the college is very good

- College campus is not too large and big as expected
- College bathrooms are not good at all there is no mirror there

From 3rd semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. Many renowned companies like TCS, Capgemini, cognizant and other core companies like Aditya Birla, Jindal and many more companies visit our campus. Every year around 60 per cent of students get placed

- Great engineering machine labs with required machines
- Faculties are friendly always very helpful

- Water supply is a main problem in vssut burla
- Unavailability of shops and medical shops nearby
Placement Experience:
Around 70% of students get placed in vssut every year. The highest package is around 15 LPA, the average package is around 7Lpaand the lowest package is around 3Lpa. Many students get admission in the core also in IT companies.

Placement Experience:
The placement improved a lot this year.
80% more students have an avg of 8.5 lahks.
Core students are all placed with a 6 LPA avg.
The placement of any branch here is good and improvement is going on every year.
My plan is to get placed in the final year.

Almost 70% of the total pass-outs get placement ranging from 6lakhs to 45lakhs. Mostly tata, wipro, Deloitte, isro, Microsoft, Adani, and many mnc come to offer placements. I'm planning for an off-campus placement after my degree completion.

- Campus life is good nearby places are great to visit.
- Placement is also decent as compared to other colleges.
- Clubs here are great place to learn and implement
Dislikes
- Sometimes things done in name of culture is not appropriate
- We need proper maintenance in college washrooms.
- Marking by faculities is not good sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview:
The exams in my semesters are average but the marking in the electronics department is a little strict. However, I have no current backlogs and I have a decent cgpa too sometimes it's difficult to pass in a few subjects but it depends upon the students' mentality and goals too.

The placement of the college is decent. The average LPA offered is 6-7 overall. The average for Computer science is 10 LPA.

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
