Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

Placement Experience:

The college is not so popular in terms of placement but still, the college manages to reach a record of 80% placement and the college offer decent placement packages as the highest salary offer was around 10 LPA and the average salary offer was around 5 LPA. The placement of the college was in the companies like TATA, Infosys, TRL, JK Paper, HCL, Wipro and many more the placement offer of the college was not good but the professional opportunity is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Employees are profoundly capable. Absolute stamps are separated into 20, 70 and 10 in every semester. Instructors are exceptionally useful and make an honest effort to prepare us industry. Placement Experience:

The college has decent placement but has a record of 80-95% placement record. The college placement cell members are quite experienced and have very good industrial exposure so they invite good companies for the college placement drive and the placement cell also help us during the college placement round. The highest placement offer of the college goes up to 12 Nalco, MCL, RSPL, CTTCA and the average salary offer was around 7.50 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The college has decent placement packages and the college management has to work very hard to compete with the many private colleges for placement. The highest salary offer during the placement drive reached up to 14 LPA and the average salary package is around 8 LPA. But in comparison to the college fee, the placement offers are quite okay and the ROI is good. TCS, Infosys, Dell, PRADAN, Wipro, HP, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, etc visit the company for the college placement drive.

Placement Experience:

UG students have a better chance of getting a job. However, if you are a postgraduate student, your chances are slim... and the companies that come are mostly Infosys and Accenture. Wipro, LnT, Mahindra, TCS, and so on.

Placement Experience:

From the end of 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placement, many companies like Vedanta, tata steel, Pradhan, Aditya Birla, TCS, Deloitte, etc. The average package provides by companies is around 4.5 lakhs per annum and the highest package was 15 lakhs from Amazon. Around 99 percent of our students are already placed in our college both off and on campus. After my degree my plans for higher studies.

In vssut many placements offered by a reputed company like L&T, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Tata, Vedanta, cognizant. last semester students become eligible for campus placement. The computer science engineering branch received the highest package 18LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is Odisha's best engineering college and offered many courses. This university is also contacted MOU with isro for launching a small satellite VSLV. They're too good faculties members and every faculty mostly completed his/her Ph.D. program in top-level universities or colleges.

Placement Experience:

The college has a tremendous placement record every year the college reaches the 100% placement record. The placement cell of the college is very supportive and helpful. Companies like Indian Oil, HP, ONGC, Reliance Petroleum are the regular recruiters of the college. The highest package for our batch was 25 LPA and the lowest was 18 LPA. At this price point, the placement that you receive can be called true return on investment.

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same

VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations

Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
