- Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
- The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
- Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
- The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
- The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

campus placement is around 90% it totally its depend on skills which our college helps us to improve this year the highest placement is around 47 lakh by Amazon and also 3 -4 internship offer from Delloite and amazon placement shell is very active

For the year 2022-23 the highest placement is around 47lpa by Amazon for etc branch with 3 intership offer form Amazon other companies like Maruti Suzuki and Mercedes also hire in our campus. For core branches, placement is around 85-90% and for circuital it's around 80%

- Cutoff from big cities like Bhubneshwar there for less company visits here
- the hostel facilities can be better and more vibrant
Placement Experience:
from around the second year, the students are eligible for internships and are supported by the faculties for it. Recently for the Years 22-23 highest placement was offered by Amazon of around 47lpa full-time role and 3 internships in Amazon for 6 months. For cse and circuital branches, the package is around 6-7lpa for core it's around 5-6lpa there is 100% placement in core branches and for circuital it's around 85-90%. Most of the students get a job after btech others go for MBA or mtech.

It has good placement compared to other govt colleges leaving iit and not. The highest offer for 2022-2023 is 47lakh from Amazon and many other good companies avg around 7-8 lpa for CSE etc for core it's 5-6 lpa. Overall good I will say

- VSSUT is situated in Burla which has very beautiful landscapes, do visit those

- Hostel food quality ciuld have been better
- More extra curricular activities should be included
- Placemets for everyone in which ever feild they want
Placement Experience:
There is a dedicated department for placement. Different software/IT and core companies visit every year giving very good packages. You can also go for higher studies be it a gate or master's from a foreign university.

- The fee structure does get expensive and
- Hostel allotted can be improved in terms of renovation
- The numerous availability of activities clash a bit
Placement Experience:
We get eligible for campus placement in our 3rd year of college. Various companies are hosted with better placement percentages. The package offered is good. The percentage of students getting placement is around 80%

- Classes are boring. Club activities are not meant to develop you
Course Curriculum Overview:
It's not the most popular course yet the placements are good.
Approximately, faculty members are around 12. The total number of students each year is 60.
I don't know the details.
It's not very difficult to pass.

- Faculty advisor are queit good they provide us information about what to do and what not to do . They also sometimes tell us about placements questions and how to be confident and give the answer for their question. The way of talking ,dressing etc .
- The environment of study is good . Friends motivates us to give knowledge about coding and courses to do while doing other stuffs. Due to these reason students gets placed in good companies and as the area around isnt developed then it pollution free
Dislikes
- Hostel facility are not good and wuality of food is low as there is no update of food menu due to which the students get bored of eating the same food so they skip the meal which gradually affects their health and they suffer from health issues .
- The main problem of this college is their shortage of coassroom due to which students have to wait for class to end and also small class due to which it is queit conjugated in sitting together. Time table scheduling is very bad and no student prefers
Placement Experience:
Placements are quite good and almost most of the students get placed. From 3rd semester the student started getting placements and most of them get it off-campus and also in big companies.89% of students get placed in the latest year. I would prefer a good paying job after completion of the course.

- I like the infrastructure of our college which provide AC and toilets for girls alone with smart boards and over 500 systems
- I love the evening walk in the campus area. The food in evening in the streets of burla
- I love to see the Hirakud dam water resources. It was eye catching
Dislikes
- The pressure of examination which was announced on sudden note
- The pressure of ragging by senior in the campus.
- The over burden assignments which provide due dates to submit.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I was interested to take electronics as my basic as I am in awe to know more about gadgets.
The faculty in Vssut, Burla of the ETC department was very much approachable and very much supportive.
They are very qualified for IITs and NITs and are recognized by central government organizations.
Talking about the examination part it was difficult compared to other colleges in the state but I managed with teachers being supportive.

- It has a great infrastructure like classrooms, libraries, hostels, canteen, medical room, etc
- The food available in the hostel and canteens is nutritious, and the hostel rooms are spacious.
- The teachers of the institutions are highly qualified and help students in various academic activities
Dislikes
- Teachers here were helpful, but their teaching quality is not very good, so we have to manage to study on our own.
- The quality of labs was adequate, but the classrooms were in extremely bad condition.
Placement Experience:
The company with the highest number of job offers (178) in 2022, followed by Wipro (75) and Infosys (60). The highest package of INR 17.34 LPA was offered during the placements. Around 50 percent of students were placed in my time. The highest package is 10 LPA by Tata Steel and the lowest is 2.6 LPA by Wipro. Infosys,

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
