- The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
- Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
- The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.
Dislikes
- No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
- Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
- 5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Era of Computer science is growing worldwide. My mentess also referred me to this course. A single faculty teaches around 80 students. And staff is quite educated and disciplined. Exams and held in a row after every week there are ST's and level is quite difficult

Placement Experience:
Yes, this university provide in campus placements. After 6th semester students start preparing for placement interviews. That i can say that not huge percentage of students get placed but yeah placement percentage is good.

- Good teachers, industry experts and college buildings
- Placement wss also good. Alot of companies used to come.
- Other activities used to be there in college.
Dislikes
- Price of fees was really really high and hostel fees.
- Transportation was not really highly available outside campus.
- Not a lot of places to enjoy outside college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose because it was in demand. Overall, syllabus was regularly updated. People from industry also used to come. The exams were mostly on time and difficult too. Only person who has studied a lot could clear them.

- Good infrastructure of university and sports grounds.
- Library is very good all types of books are available needed by students.
- Classroom are goods and techniques of faculty to tech student is best.
Course Curriculum Overview:
For a better job, I choose a computer science course. The ratio Faculty: to student is 1:20. Faculty members' qualification is mtech, Ph.D., and their teaching techniques are good. Term exams were timely and easy to pass for average students.

- I liked the campus life. Good environment and clean place and excellent infrastructure.
- Students can work with faculty on research projects, offered every semester.The teachers are very helpful and always encourage every student.
- Infrastructure is very good the classes. Libraries are well-equiped and remain busy all time. Medical faculty is good in university.
Dislikes
- The quality of hostel food is not really good. Otherwise everything is good.
Placement Experience:
Many companies came to our college and offer jobs or internships to the students who completed there bachelor's degree.
The highest package for BBA students is around 5 lakhs. Students get placed according to there skills and there portfolios.

- All food outlets are there with many variety of food for students.
- Tports activites are excellent and proper facilies are provided by the college faculy for sports men.
- Campus infrastructure and cleanliness is quite good which is mostly liked by everyone.
Dislikes
- Fighs happinging in college on regular basis.
- Wearing dress always which feels like same as school
- not letting students to go out of college before 3:30 no matter how much emergency a person have and if someone wants to go out neends many formalities like application stamp etc.
Placement Experience:
The placement percentage is high but only for some specific courses, students can get placement opportunities in there last year or in 5 sem of college, info sis,wipro, etc many companies visit college every year for placement, highest average package is 2-3 lakhs per year, students requires more than 8 cgpa to get good placement, plans after this course are to move abroad and study for masters.

- Social life is good as you can interact with different type of people with different mentality.
- Food outlets provide different varieties of food eg- you can get both North Indian and South Indian taste in the same places
- You get 24/7 emergency support eg ambulance
Dislikes
- Especially for BCA, Block for BCA demorgan block is not as good as of other blocks
- Campus rules are very strict you can't go out in campus without the university dress till 4:30
Placement Experience:
Placement for undergraduate courses is not so good but you can get good placement opportunities in postgraduate courses.
In BCA you are eligible for campus placement in 5th semester.
Companies that come for campus placement are Infosys, Wipro and many other companies.
The highest package in BCA is 5 lakh and the average is 3 lakh.
Students should maintain a 7.5 cgpa in every semester to sit in the placement exam and interview.
My plans after getting the degree is to pursue MCA for more good opportunities

- Campus life is very good. the students studying here are very cooperative and the seriors too are friendly. they helped us a lot in the starting.
- The food provided in the Square one food court is quite affordable and taste is also very good. We can order the food from the Ucampus app designed by the university students itself.
- We had very less classes in the 1st and 2nd semester due to which we had extra time for studies and self-studies.
Dislikes
- i prefer the teachers and the faculty here should be more qualified and should have more patience level. They should listen to the problems faced by the students.
- According to the hype to the university, the studies are not benificial to us.
- The university food court is overcrowded most of the times and we have to wait for hours to get something to eat. Even most of the times , we do no even get a proper place to sit and have our lunch.
Placement Experience:
The internship is provided to the students in the 5th semester.
Infosys came to our university last year.
2 lakhs per annum was the average. package given to the students.
The percentage of placements is very poor. out of 300 students only 3 were placed. I want to go abroad and pursue my further studies there only.

- The placement opportunities available are better than most of the colleges in the region
- The courses available in college are not only limited to academics and provide practical knowledge as well

- The hostel food and hygience should be improved
- Strictness on the main gate should be removed
Course Curriculum Overview:
I took BCA because it is necessary for my further studies.
Moreover Chitkara provides excellent subjects like digital marketing, and artificial intelligence which might not be available in any other college.
Student to faculty ratio is decent.
The teaching methods of teachers are excellent since they make the use of most recent technology.

- Hostel life of course, during the early semesters. The diversity of students which come to the university really helped made some good friends
- The placement opportunities provided is quite fine in my opinion. During the reccession period also, the university gets you placed for at once.
Dislikes
- The crowd man i tell you about. Sometimes we found it very annoying the amount of students the university is giving admissions.
- We were not allowed to bring outside food from the campus. Even zomato deliveries were restricted by the university at some period of time.
- Very less holidays were given by the university be it a festival. We were not always able to go to our hometown even on holidays like Raksha-bandhan.

Placement Experience:
The companies come for the recruitement at the end of 5th semester and offers nice employement opportunities.
As the reccession being in place, i have gained some respect for the university in terms of placement. The seniors told us tyhat about 200 companies came the last time the sat for the interviews and some of them offered greeat packages ( keeping in mind the reccesion ).
Highest package offered was around 32 lakhs. 5 students were offered this salary.( Company - cant recall )
The avreage package keeping in mind the mass recruitement ( done by wipro) would be arounnd 5-6 lakhs.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.
- ACADEMICS
The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.
- PLACEMENTS
Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.
There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.
- FEES & ACCOMMODATION
Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.
- CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP
There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
The Chitkara University in a nutshell is a good option provided the individual is satisfied with the details.
