The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Dedicated faculty: The faculty of the university is completely inclined to make futures of their students bright and does every possible effort to help the students.
Proper accountability and regular checks prevents the students from involving in any form of nuisance.
Air conditioned campus and the libraries make it easier for students to get resources at ease.

Dislikes

Additional courses to be completed in a deadline are given that are completely irrelevant to our course of study.
The price of the food items in the students centre is very high andnot affordable on daily basis.
Despite being a day scholar, students have to apply for a gate pass which at times is not approved by the authorities on time.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is a bit long process but surely a refined one. The overall placements are good. Mostly students get through these placements all thanks to the dedicated faculty of the university and its faculty.

Goodness of chitkara

Likes

I liked fest in University and I enjoy them.
Mostly sports game are available in University.
Teacher's are good and class timings are good.

Dislikes

Without permission of parents we can't go outside the university.
We have regularly paper which are very difficult to us.
Recently papers are mcqs type which are least scorer for us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in coding so I take B E in CSE. The faculty members are good and clear all our doubts. But there is an issue you must have an attendance of 75 percentage which is difficult to fulfill. Because medical leave only applies when you are absent regularly for 5 days.

Security guards helps alot in university campus
Faculty is like a friend. they don’t judge you

Sometimes classes are more in some days of week
Sometimes things are not available that we wish to eat

I've chosen electronics and communication engineering as I find interest towards it In the classrooms, the faculty is very frank as well as supportive Faculty teach us in practical ways rather than only theory Lab experiments and practicals make the subjects more interesting Expert sessions are there to provide basic industrial information for students There are 3 exams before ene terms to check whether students are prepared are not and the faculty helps alot to improve our marks

Sports culture is very good here and all equipments really good.
Fests are held often here and lot of groups have been built here by students.
Some faculty members are really supportive here.

Dislikes

Students have to give lot of exams and assignments.
75% attendance is mandatory here to sit in exams.
Food here is not good and it is of bad quality.

Placement Experience:

from the 7th semester, a student becomes eligible for placement here. A lot of companies come here and the record of the placement is 100 percent. The highest offer they say is 1.11 crore but it is not that the highest package gone from here is around about 40 lakhs.

The students in the college from different places. I got to know about different cultures. The campus is also very beautifully made

Dislikes

The campus size is really small. There should have been more space for students to chill, relax & enjoy with their friends.

Placement Experience:

From the third year, the students become eligible for campus placements. Firstly they are given internships to make them familiar with how the corporate world works & then according to their qualification & skills, students are given the best jobs. Different companies visit the campus like Wipro, Infosys, HCL, HP, Oracle, and Accenture. Last year a girl was given an internship by Amazon. The average package is 8 lakhs/year. The highest package is 40 lakhs/year. A high 80-90% of students are placed by the university. After getting the degree I must have already been placed in a good company, after that, I might or might not opt for higher studies.

Chitkara- An underrated Lion

Likes

Greenery campus: they manage the campus so beautiful every where it's green.
Cooperative seniors no case of raging is there.
Placement are good in chitkara as compared to other punjab uni.

Dislikes

Umm. Mess menu is not liked by me as its my personal as i don't eat palak, rajma, dal makhni but the others say its good.

Placement Experience:

Yeah, placement is quite nice here. Seniors are going to companies after clearing all the protocols and they have been given proper worth according to their skills. Many companies like Wipro, Oyo, TCS, and Microsoft come here and yesterday Johnson was present for placement the highest package was 65 lakh, and they didn't have to tell us. nearly 80% of students have been placed here.

support for academics is good with both teachers and dean helping.
offers us transport for nearby locations.

Dislikes

No support for tournaments from the college.
the food iw very bad and the items inside are very expensive.
food other than mess is very very very expensive.

From 3rd year students are eligible for interships placements. percentage of students getting placed is very high with decent placement. both big companies like amazons etc and small local companies come for placement .

Classrooms are pretty good in Chitkara..all classrooms are equipped with projectors and AC
Campus is pretty good too..they maintained college in very decent manner
Every road in college and ground are pretty clean..there are no sign of garbage

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester, students will be eligible for campus placement and there are many companies visited to offer good packages to students like Microsoft, google, amazon, flipkart, etc the average package for cse students is 500000/- per annum.

Campus is lush green and photogenic. It's very clean as well.
Hostels are well built and give apartment vibes
Classrooms are spacious and fully air conditioned

Dislikes

They dont allow ro bring outside food in rhe campus
The college canteen is very expensive as compared to rhe quality of food
The student intake is very high and the crowd is very chill

Placement Experience:

4th year students can sit for placements. They provide training and internship for 3rd year students. The placements results are not clear though. College has many collaboration with foreign universities so one can opt for masters after their degree as well.

Campus environment is very clean and green . Campus is very beautiful and mesmerizing,it looks even more beautiful in evening.
Campus Life is chill and fun until you obey the rules and regulations. You get to enjoy concerts of various celebrities.
Faculty is appointed from corporate sector to give a good knowledge of corporate life and know the reality of world of job

Dislikes

They should make the subjects for 6 months and just end the subjects in mid of months
Evening classes are really not a good option
Everything is fine you will enjoy your life here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BE(CSE) ,I chose this course because technology should be hand in hand if you want to survive in corporate world and make a good sum of money . I was also interested in various languages of computer hence a prefect course to go with. Talking about faculty, teachers here a pretty good and well educated almost every teacher hold a PHD degree in their respective subject and they have a plenty of knowledge to deliver. Student ratio is like 70-80 students in each class which is likely to happen in every other college. Examing pattern here is little complicated but yet beneficial, sessional tests are conducted for better testing .level of exams is from medium to high.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
