The college atmosphere is very good and they maintain very clean environment facilities.the feild trip is very exciting and that same time its related to the course
There will be a scholarship based on the merit that they have scored in their past 11th and 12th standard and according to their merit, the scholarship will be decided.
The faculty of the university is very good and gentle towards the students and they are very good intaractive with students and they are more effective to provide the quality education to the students

Dislikes

There are 5 hostel for boys and 3 for girls and food was very worst and i don't like it.
Food that provided in hostels will be sometimes very bad rhat we cant eat.
That i don't like we have no proper internet and no water in blocks

In this college is covered with forest and tha surrounding is so beautiful and they game importants to sports persons .

Dislikes

The Kalasalingam college entrance to collage building distance is to low and all students should walk and enter into College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.The course should increase our English skills and they pronounce skill should be improved. 2. They help Understanding and creativity new ideas and imagination. 3. The course should increase knowledge and grow of learn the English of reading and writing skills.

My campus story.

Likes

Labs are well equipped and technicians are well knowledgeable. We are all well trained by the technician.
Environment of the college campus is mind-blowing. It makes us feel so good especially during rainy days.
Staffs are cool and they are friendly. And we have also the recorded sessions of classes which is helpful during absence.

Dislikes

Climate will be more worse during summer and the distance between each department is longer.
Sports equipments are only used by the seniors and sports people.
We have to maintain 80 percentage attendance unless we'll be getting a backlog.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 the students are eligible for campus placements. Amazon, cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, DXC tech, Tech Mahindra, JSW, Jindal, L&T and many other companies. 1000+ offers are made. 45 LPA is the highest package offered by the company. More than 80 percentage of students are getting placed. I'm working as a engineer in an MNC.

Likes

Infrastructure is very good and it has very greenary campus.
Campus is spreadover 500 acres it has huge playground
Here 90% of the faculties are Ph.D holders , Hence they teach good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It has very good course curriculam, In our batch my ECE department is collabrated with nanochipsolutions for to provide training in various feilds like VLSI, EMBEDDED AND IOT, PHYSICAL DESIGN, CYBER SECURITY AND AI.

The college is clean and big. About campus life, it is exciting every day. The faculty is very jovial.
Placements are coming oftenly with wid erange of opportunities for every branch.
The infrastructure is cool. Every course can be able to choose according to the student interest

Dislikes

The college is over crowded with almost 15k students and the distance is too long from hostel to our education block.
Not enough accroding to the strength available for each branch.
Infrastructure looks heavy. We have to walk long distance for medication, stores.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year onwords students become eligible for campus placements. According to my knowledge,around 25 to 30 companies were visited and around 250 offers were made. The highest and average packages are 30LPA And 4 LPA. Around 70% students are getting placements. I am thinking to start a business.

Disliked the hostel foods and the hostel staffs behavior.

Placement Experience:

During my final semester, we were started attending palcement drives. The department and the faculty members really helped a lot. On an average of Rs.4,50,000 was the package in the companies. Around 40% of our students placed in good companies.

A few of my friends graduated from Kalasalingam University. According to them, the college offers decent academics and infrastructural facilities.

The college is accredited by UGC. Teaching is mostly examination-oriented.
Classes and examinations are conducted on time. You will need to maintain 80% attendance to sit in the examination.
Most faculties are friendly.
In college premises, students need to maintain proper dressing. Wearing jeans isn’t allowed for both boys and girls. Girls are only allowed to wear churidar and shawl.
The hostel accommodation is decent. The 1st year hostels are separate. Hostel rooms have an occupancy of 3 people. The rooms have all basic amenities. The rooms and washrooms are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. Food offered at the mess is decent.

The reviews of the students are not usually bad. But when you compare Kalasalingam University to other more established universities, it lags a bit behind in the college rankings. But the college rankings are not given by students, so their views vary.

This college really has good facilities, a huge library, green campus, etc. They also have a well experienced and highly cooperative faculty. The college might have some faults which is why the NIRF ranking is not good. But other than that it is quite a good college with sufficient amenities.
