The college atmosphere is very good and they maintain very clean environment facilities.the feild trip is very exciting and that same time its related to the course
There will be a scholarship based on the merit that they have scored in their past 11th and 12th standard and according to their merit, the scholarship will be decided.
The faculty of the university is very good and gentle towards the students and they are very good intaractive with students and they are more effective to provide the quality education to the students

Dislikes

There are 5 hostel for boys and 3 for girls and food was very worst and i don't like it.
Food that provided in hostels will be sometimes very bad rhat we cant eat.
That i don't like we have no proper internet and no water in blocks

There are many shops are there to eat and enjoy
In college campus have free wifi with high speed
Library are very silent and monthly once dj also there

There are very strict watch mans for college

Likes

Things I like in my college library, studies.
Also atmosphere, friendlyness with faculties.
Clubs, Events, Placements Services and support from placement shell.

Dislikes

Things I don't in my college are Labs Sections.
Temperature exceptionally in summer season.
Hostel food, number of candidates in each classroom.

Placement Experience:

Overall Placement of our college is quite good ,placements in our college from 6th semester for internship and for internship+full time will start from 7th semester. Companies visited my college are MCW,Genpact,Comcast,Accenture,TCS etc. Highest Package is 50 Lpa and average package is 4.5 Lpa.

where ever you see you will find greenery
one thing i like in my collage is our library
i like campus life apart from my academics

Dislikes

the food they provide in hostels is worst that i never tasted
i don't like collage curriculum because it is very clumsy compared to other collages
in this collage we have huge strength due to this we are not getting proper placements

Placement Experience:

As a final year student at kare we are facing a lot of issues regarding placements because here we are around 2k students only in CSE department now a days recession is ongoing in this period we are facing lot of troubles while getting placed but you can expect a decent job i=but it takes lot of time.

Review of Kalasalingam University

Likes

Study in our university is good Nd provides security for womens
The gym Nd the swimming pool provided by the management by paying fee
Ecosystem Nd lectures are so friendly untill uh poke them

Dislikes

The rules Nd regulations in this college are very strict.
It is been far from the city.! So we are unable to go outt.
The auditorium in the college is very small.! Better they can plan a new auditorium for students

Placement Experience:

The average package of the university is 12 LPA. Nd the highest package provided in the previous year was 50 LPA. Almost 90% of students are placed during the campus placements. So no worries about the campus placements.

A Brief Intro Of Kalasalingam

Likes

Faculty was very nice to students to clear doubts
Course curriculum has 160 credits to get graduation certificate
Placement services was excellent and in my batch all are got placed

Dislikes

Infrastructure was not that much what I expected
Campus was not that much of my expections
Personal development course are not more than 3

Placement Experience:

6th semester students are eligible for placements and I have visited Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro and I got placed in two companies namely those are Accenture and Capgemini, 95% students are got placed.

Kalasalingam overall experience review

Likes

College provides the good education and the opportunities
Faculty was good and the gentle to the students and very responsible towards the quality education
Location and the ambience of the college is very good

Dislikes

Hostel food should be increased the quality and the maintenance
It should provide more placements to the students
Campus should be keep clean and thay have to use the proper dain water maintenance

Placement Experience:

from the sixth sem students are eligible for the campus placements More than twenty companies are visited to the college Highest package is fiftyfour Lakhs and the average package is seven lakhs 60 percentage of the students are placed in the campus placements

The faculty's Mentorship qualities was good.
curriculum is Upgraded for better learning and advancement.

Dislikes

The college had lots of restriction for the students.
Architecture is different from engineering and the management didn't understand even the basics of architecture but they run an architecture department.
There was dress code to be followed. Although there was a little bit freedom about dress code in our department, other department faculties did not allow our students to write the exam for wearing pants with 2 extra pockets, telling it wasn't formal

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum here was upgraded and was nothing like the old Anna University syllabus. The curriculum is well designed so that we cover all the aspects to be covered for GATE Architecture exams for those who would like to pursue a master's. We were not exposed to a lot of practical work and technical details during the due course. The exams are easy when you've paid attention in class and taken notes. most faculties do give notes before exams.

Likes

The faculties of our department were very enthusiastic, they helped me a lot throughout the course. They were supportive in terms of academics as well a personal development.
The management would always take initiative in sending us to Symposiums as well as Competition within and outside the state for us to gain exposure and experience.
We had full freedom in choosing our own subjects, from a really wide range, enabling us in diversifying the knowledge we were gaining. Most of the subjects offered were career oriented.

Dislikes

The lack of infrastructure, our classrooms were really old and outdated, furniture and cleanliness were seldom maintained. Most of the buildings were in a dilapidated condition, some of them even posing safety risks.
The campus has a lot of "Moral Policing", girls are not allowed to even get food from the campus canteen post 6 pm. Boys and Girls can't walk together, can't sit together, forget surviving as a couple here.
The managements curriculum and policies are quite outdated and not anywhere capable of making the students industry ready. It is only through a few faculties' sincere attempts that students actually learn something useful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was very outdated in terms of what was being taught at other colleges at that time. It was nowhere enough to get industry ready. Most concepts dealt were very outdated and it lacked inputs of current standards, practices and improvements in the field. The curriculum can use a revamp, updates from the current scenario of the industry should be added rather than talking about outdated topics that don't get used in the present day. Exams were conducted at regular intervals, the difficulty was intermediate and faculties helped every single student in achieving a good score.

University is good it should be better

I liked quality of infrastructure and facilities to student as study aspects
They are providing different course and they are collaborated with IBM for cse
Faculty are very seniors and well experienced

Dislikes

The hostels room are good but some times wifi service are low and some of the website we can't access
And food will be great and sometimes very bad
If we have any issue in hostel they won't even listen to us some times

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester some internship and placement offers will come which are based upon the cpa the hightes package in our 20-24 if only for girls 52 laks for per annum and boys highest is 25 laks per annum around 50-60 percentage have placed but some of 10 percentage have placed in very low packages like 2 lakhs per annum

The college environment is too close with nature it has a beautiful and large campus with full of greeneries.
Here i can assure that you will not face a single case of ragging

Dislikes

Yyou can face little bit of discrimination on the basis of your language
it's too much difficult for the north indian students to reach out there
The college is situated in very remote location

from the 3rd year and 6th sem students are eligible for the sitting in the placement exam whic are conducted by the companies.And its very good for the students to explore there capacity as well Many companies used to visit into our collage like as IBM,CAPGEMINI,TCS, some banks and Asianpaints, and many other companies used to vist our collage The highest placement offered to a girl was around 52lpa by the NUTANIX company in the year 2023 to 3 students and the regular or avg placement offered to student is around 4 to 4.5 lakhs . there are very less percentage of students who are getting placed , It's around 30 to 40 % of students are getting placed per year who used to appear in placement exams. I am planning to go for higher studies after completing my degree

A few of my friends graduated from Kalasalingam University. According to them, the college offers decent academics and infrastructural facilities.

The college is accredited by UGC. Teaching is mostly examination-oriented.
Classes and examinations are conducted on time. You will need to maintain 80% attendance to sit in the examination.
Most faculties are friendly.
In college premises, students need to maintain proper dressing. Wearing jeans isn’t allowed for both boys and girls. Girls are only allowed to wear churidar and shawl.
The hostel accommodation is decent. The 1st year hostels are separate. Hostel rooms have an occupancy of 3 people. The rooms have all basic amenities. The rooms and washrooms are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. Food offered at the mess is decent.

The reviews of the students are not usually bad. But when you compare Kalasalingam University to other more established universities, it lags a bit behind in the college rankings. But the college rankings are not given by students, so their views vary.

This college really has good facilities, a huge library, green campus, etc. They also have a well experienced and highly cooperative faculty. The college might have some faults which is why the NIRF ranking is not good. But other than that it is quite a good college with sufficient amenities.
