You have a good percentage in high school and jee you'll get scholarships like 1.4 lakh.
Faculties were very friendly and approachable,motivated students who lack in academics, encourage students who are talented, solve their doubts
The infrastructure of the campus just looking like a wow, the cub activities provided here is well good to equiped by the students and has many field of interest of the students the club activities are provided

Dislikes

Sometimes the mess food worst. It's based on the mood of the contract team. I literally hate that kind of attitude.
Sometimes you might feel a stress of the curriculum has there will be a limited time
their rules are a bit more rude and strict

Remarks:

The reason i took this college was because it was very close to my relatives house and i got easily admitted. Moreover the fees was comparatively less than other colleges i saw. Moreover the admission process was quite easy for NRI students.

A GOOD PLACE TO PURSUE YOUR B.TECH

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the final year, specifically the seventh semester. Almost 200 - 220 companies visited the college in 2020 and the department had received about 60 to 70 of them. There are students with single, double, triple, four and five offers too in the college. The package varies from 2.5 lakhs to 19 lakhs per annum. The average salary is about 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum. Around 80 - 85 % of the students got placed in the department. Placement is pretty good overall.

Remarks:

There were many factors for me to take up admission in Karunya University. I have listed them below in order:1) Location - The campus is situated under beautiful mountains which gives an outstation feel. It is located in a rural area not far from the Coimbatore city.2) Natural Sceneries which give me a pleasant feel and the mode to study. Infact in the first few months you will be amazed of how well the sceneries are.3) Karunya has the facilities to work with top notch equipments[To name a few Nvidia DGX WORKSTATION, Nvidia RTX model CPU for AI etc] for the field of AI [In general CSE]4) Security - I heard that it was a secure place moreover with very less student alcohol and drug cases. Infact this is very true.5) It is very close to my hometown.

Good teaching faculties, eco friendly campus, hostel with good facilities, nice ambience, college with good placement opportunities, all the lab facilities are good. We searched for the colleges with good national ranking and rating.

I have heard a lot about it from my cousin as he was one of the media student who passed out from the University. I did get interested in the college from him and later I did my research and found out that this would be one of the places that I'd love to be.

Admission:

Karunya Entrance exam (KEE). It will be announced on the college website. And they get admission with the marks that they have in their high school. They can select the group that they want to select. This Institute has a good atmosphere and provides good knowledge.

One of my friends studied at Karunya University. According to him, it is very reputed in the country. The campus environment is peaceful and comfortable.

The infrastructure of its campus is very beautiful and various kinds of facilities are available for the students.
The laboratories available at this college are good and equipped with modern machinery.
There are hostels available for the students. All basic facilities such as laundry service are being provided to the students.
These facilities are a big relief to those students who don't have enough free time to wash their clothes.
The rules and regulations of this institution are very strict, especially for girls.
The campus is far away from the main city of Coimbatore, sometimes it becomes difficult to travel from the city to campus.
You will have to take permission from the administration for almost everything by writing them a letter or an application.

Hence, the rules and regulations of this university are very strict and you will have to abide by all the rules if you wish to study at this university.

A few of my friends have studied here and their experiences have been moderate. Karunya University has improved over the years but you cannot expect too much from here.

Following are some of the pros and cons of the university:

Pros –

Good infrastructure with well-equipped facilities including hostels
Climate is good throughout the year.
Ragging is comparatively low.
If you are a person who accumulates arrears this is the place for you. University will help you out, a supplementary examination is held in the middle of a semester just to help students clear their arrears.
WiFi connection is available.
You can choose faculties as per your wish

Cons –

There is a morning assembly every day. This includes starting prayer, ending prayer and in between someone will pray for you from the stage. You should maintain 80% of attendance for Assembly.
Management is not efficiently managed
The grading system is not fair. There will be four to five faculties for the same subject.

If you are opting for Karunya University, then go only for CSE as only it is good. Other departments like ECE and EE do not have proper faculty members or infrastructure. Do not waste your time in such departments.
